And you people want this guy to be President?

Just take a look Cruz or someone in his employ did send a totally false tweet that suggested Carson is dropping out. Then sent another urging Carson supporters to switch to Cruz. No matter how you look at it that was underhanded and may or may not have made a difference in the outcome. That is dirty politics and while not illegal is unscrupulous. I have been on the edge of deciding Trump, Cruz, or Carson. This kind of manipulation weighs very heavy to the negative for Cruz.

I have to disagree Cruz's staffers heard a report from CNN that was wrong and went with it...yes it should have been handled differently...what I don't understand is why aren't people going after the originator of the bad information, which is CNN one of the progressive operatives that run cover for the left....why wouldn't anyone think that they didn't purposely put out misinformation??

It could be CNN "Clinton News Network" would fit nicely in that acronym. Even if it came out earlier it never should have been sent out without vetting the source and information. As well as it is unethical to tell the Carson Caucasus' to switch to Cruz let them decide when selecting on their own. It is just the more I hear and see Ted Cruz the less I like him I question his honesty. As far as Trump he says it what he thinks like it or not. That is a plus in this CYA political world where what they say isn't what they do. Just look at the lies the Senators and Representatives told when we gave them the both houses of Congress. Cruz is a current Senator that makes him part of the problem.

Yes I agree they should have checked the information before using it especially when it came from Cnn.

I don't know if you really listen to Trump he is pretty much all over the place is he lying or saying what he thinks people want to hear....

I like all three Trump, Cruze and Rubio although I would have to hold my nose to vote for Rubio.

As an after thought why do you think Cruz's is lying, because Trump said he is? or do you have specific things you can point to...?

Unfortunately that's the choice we have every election.

Yes, and that's the problem. Do you think there will ever be a time where we stop accepting this "lesser-of-two-evls" quandary? We willingly accept and support evil, then have the nerve to complain about it after the fact. Where will it end?

I keep hoping that someday we'll get a candidate we can truly believe in. Until then we can either choose the lesser (or least) of the evils, or we can just not vote for any candidate for that office. Not much of a choice, but what other alternatives are there?

First he says skipping the debate cost him (his choice after whining about MK). Now he blames it on Cruz with no real proof of how it affected the final outcome. Trump is not what he is trying to sell himself as.

Liberty Tree-In my opinion, Trump should not even have commented on the Carson/Cruz mix-up. That being said, he does have a point. There are 1500 precincts and all Cruz had to get from the Carson folks is 4 votes per precinct to give him a 6,000 vote bonanza. Also, Rubio may have picked up some of the votes. Who knows ? Not that important, however, because the difference between first and second is one delegate. Trump did not have a good ground game, relied on the polls, and failed to attend the debate. All rookie mistakes. Good Luck America !!!

LAPhil-I feel great about our chances and anyone of our candidates is better than Hillary or Bernie. How would you feel if you were a democrat with their choices ??? We can either take a chance on Trump or go with a guy like Cruz and hope the ensuing gridlock becomes surmountable. Rubio may end up being the spoiler and win by default. How about that scenario ?? Good Luck America !!!

It was something of a screw up on several levels but no one really knows how much it really affected the outcome. If it did make a difference the difference is too minor for Trump and others to make such a big deal of it. It is time to move on.

I'm hoping Rubio does win. Not only because I think he's the best candidate among the Republicans at this point, but also the polls have shown that he does the best against Hillary head-to-head. He would certainly beat her if were to get the nomination.

LAPhil-do you think he can beat Biden? Junior senator against an old pro who has been in government most of his adult life ? Believe Hillary is damaged goods and if she is not indicted all of the charges will be exposed and , unless totally brain dead, her supporters will move on. Who in your opinion has the best chance against Biden-Rubio, Cruz, Trump, Christie, Kasich ??? Do not be overly mesmerized by Rubio's glib tongue. He is smart and I like him but am not convinced he has the staying power to defeat all of the democrats he might have to face. I agree that he can beat Hillary. Good Luck America !!!

Rubio vs. Biden would be close, but I think Rubio could win because Biden represents a third term of the Obama administration, and he might have a hard time answering for all of Obama's failures. He's also 73 years old, and I think that voters would be more inclined a more youthful candidate in Rubio, who despite his inexperience, could still hold his own if not outright best Biden in any debate. Biden also has a history of gaffes and bonehead moves, and the Republicans will continually be reminding the voters of them.
