Actually, the Christian God can be "prayed too" without elaborate preparations, facing a special direction, ringing tones from somewhere, to let you know to pray, and not at set times each day. The Christian God accepts prayers any time, anywhere, anyhow; be they long or brief.
And last, but not least, an individual can pray to the Christian God while performing the work for which they are being paid.
Some people pray to God while kneeling in a submissive manor others pray with shouts of joy while working. God hears all, even the out of tune songs that we offer to our Lord. For many of us, prayer are an ongoing thing just a part of everything we do, prayers of thanks prayers for help and guidance and prayers for those who need help and understanding. If you need to exhibit your virtue by organized prayers with others reciting the same chants then you are praying so you can be seen by others, which is to glorify yourself not God.
