The Patriot Act is a sterling example of such an egregious sin. If we start narrowing freedom to insure safety, we end liberty. Our worldview is affected. Torture of prisoners as a safeguard is no longer wrong. Unlimited detainment of "possible" threats becomes okay. Such thinking ends democracy and liberty. It is no more riskier driving a car than if we had no Patriot Act.

I sing just about the same way, but never in public. As a matter of fact I don't even sing in the shower, it gets the dogs howling too much. God doesn't care, but other people, and apparently animals, have something to say about the matter.
