The blacks are Christian because the white whipped and maimed those niggers if they didn't praise the lord the proper way. Many native Americans met the same fate at the hands of the brutal missionary forces that invaded thier land and imprisoned them. It's just amazing how a thing as simple as whipping and dismemberment can put the right religion on a person.

Are you saying that those people failed to revert back to their native religions once the Christians in our government freed them over 150 years ago. I am talking about the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. I just can't think they were so sad as to keep on being Christians when they were freed by the very people you are taking to the pit of hell with your talk.

Surely all you atheist, secular people should have changed them back a long time ago if what you say is right.

Their are many recorded examples of slaves erecting tree limbs and brush over a depressed area in the fields and conducting forbidden worship and prayers. their faith, for generations, was the foundation of the black family structure during the decades when most others were engaging in the debaucheries of the 1890's throuth the 1930's. It wasn't until Lyndon Johnson, in the 1960's, made the political calculation of the civil rights act of 1964 to change the course of the democrat party, for the black vote and, in the process, destroy the black family.

The United States is clearly a secular nation.
Hello oldroy nice to meet you.

The USA is a secular nation? Dear people, this remark is written by an individual who has absorbed the propaganda of the Progressive anti-religious left who vigorously promote a hedonistic agenda. They are as dangerous and deadly to America as stage four brain cancer. All one need do to counter this ridiculous notion is to read the writings of the early founding fathers. He has no idea the number of men who possessed seminary degrees who signed our constitution. He probably is not even aware that the very first book the congress had printed with tax payer money and distributed to public schools was the Bible. Do not believe a Progressive. When I was a young man our American history books even printed the prayers of George Washington. You won't find them in today's history books because the secular, hedonistic, immoral progressives disavow God. And look at the hell they have created in America.

You are aware I am sure that the revolutionary war was an anti-Christian act. At least according to the bible. The colonies were not the United States.
We became the United States once the Constitution was ratified. The Constitution is a Secular document. The United States is a secular nation.

Not deflecting anything. Just making my point.

Obviously ,what eventually became the United States would have had to have been influenced by Christianity. That doesn't mean that the final product of there efforts was a Christian Nation.
But certainly a nation of Christians.

Primarily Christians that are being handled roughly by progs from the left that use secular as their defense. I am tired of that crap but don't think we can escape it till they win.

And who was it that drug the racist Democrats kicking and screaming to the civil rights act of 1964, and if it hadn't been for Republicans there would not have been civil rights for blacks. And today one would be led to believe that the Democrats were ( and remain) the champion of black civil rights. Just like those wascally wabbits Progressives to fix the blame for their mistakes on someone else and take credit for successes for those things they vigorously opposed that turned out well.

I really don't think modern Democrats know that it was a Republican Congress that passed those laws. They have been told over and over that it was LBJ who was responsible for those laws since he signed them into effect. If you look at those days and today in comparison there isn't any. Today RINOs in Congress are pushing the Democrat programs for them and for some reason getting by with it.

If not for the Republicans (Lincoln's party), there would be no
emancipation, no 14th Amendment, and slavery would have
continued its slide into history. Johnson's civil rights program
was a political move to secure influence. If you knew anything at
all about him, you'd know this is true. His statement to his
confidants after the Act was passed was: "Well, now no democrat
will be elected in Texas for 50yrs but, them n*****s will be
voting democrat for ever."

Your problem is that you rubber stamp everything either republican or democrat. It doesn't matter to you if its good or bad, all you worry about is demonizing anything non republican. I don't know how the parties seem to have switched thier rolls /ideals, but all it accomplished is bringing progress to a snails crawl. I pretty sure that it's all about campaign contributions to either party so if we stop dividing politicians into groups and just call them all Americans maybe we could move along a little easier.
