Have you ever met a humble man who was confronted with these same issues that you are presenting KHH1.

I have, and it was one the most beautiful events and kindly interactions that I have ever observed.

After what I saw and heard, that beautiful humble man was a friend and a brother for life. That was true Christianity at its best.

Did not Jesus Christ message to Christians what ever their race, He said you would be scorned and worse, because of me. That is the message and teaching of Jesus Christ.

Wether you believe the message it is for all peoples and races remains the same. Sometimes we have to endure hardships. I didn't say that you had to enjoy those hardships.

So KHH!, in response to your reply I hope and pray that this is the correct response, but I'm not you, I don't have the same experiences or have experienced the emotional feelings and disappointments over racism.

But you cannot expect people to be treated like s--t continuously and just be forgiving... The media and politicians fan the flames of racism, Keep your opinions and interactions local.

On the national and at the OPP website we see everything. I for one do apologize, if I have offended you. Moving forward.

Address the issues, as the incidents happen, numbly and respectfully give your replies. On the other, hand forcing the issue is another subject and is not my path that I would take.

Martin Luther King Jr, and Christ are our role model's, Not Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan e.g., Louis Eugene Wolcott-Lewis X. Their message is hate inspired, and not a message of love and respect.

Some times you just have you take it. Jesus forgave for they know not what they do hanging on the Cross. So you see the message.
You will be a better and humble man before others and God. That is your reward.

Or expect them to remain mum, just so the perpetrators can stay comforted. KHH1 I's all on a individual basis, I believe that this is the best approach, but you have freewill. My father said don't swing at every pitch. a poor idiom, but it works in my reply.

Even if you have a small dog and kick the hell out of it daily, one day it is going to get fed up and attack whether or not it will succeed....animal and human nature 101. Im not saying that you have to take it all the time, but be selective in your approach and your dealings, unless you let it consume you and your heart and soul.

Jesus Christ massage is totally different than the message you are espousing here KHH1.

A short story KHH1, I had a gay friend, and all he could say, "was gay this, and gay that". Kindly I said to him aren't you more, than being a Gay person, and your gay sexual identity.

Don't you have more to offer than this one-sided persona of a human. He didn't know how to respond, and made a excuse comment. But he thought about my comment.

I said your more than this, He was caring the Gay cross on his shoulders.
I said lighten up, be more than this one sided person.

Several weeks later, he just thanked me out of the blue. Nothing more was said, but I was seeing a whole person in front of me. than what I saw several weeks before.

We can't change people, we can ply chance our hearts and mind, with god's help and prayers.

Life has lessons, we need to learn from those lessons. Yes ? God Bless.

Slavery has been over for 140 years. The new slavery is this corporate slavery in the USA. This is what must change in America.

KHH1, We can't change people, we can only change our hearts and our minds, with god's help and prayers.

When you open up your self to others these people on the OPP website, you only allow them to put you down, all the more.

KHH1, your Frustration and Anger is so vivid, it hurts me to read your responses.

Be gracious. Learn and pick your battles okay KHH1. Stop responding this is not good for your health and human spirit. I will only make your heart harder.

Life has lessons, we need to learn from those lessons. Yes ? God Bless. and peace.

I don't do emotions over issues like people do, things are a matter of principles. I do not try to change how others think, I manage myself and encourage others to do what THEY think/feel is best for them.

Jesse and Al are more realistic about racism and less spritual in their approach-less passive. I think MLK should have been more aggressive in his approach and it may would have lessened the abuse he took...you see people handled malcolm with kid gloves whe he was alive.....they did not spit on him and beat him like they did MLK and the mainstream civil rights movement. There is a reason for that.

I have faith, but not blind faith..i think spirituality, a personal relationship with who/what you believe in is great but I believe religion itself is a crock...especially since our religion was introduced on the premise of being a good slave is what will get you into heaven...that in itself has always made me wary but I also realize people like my 103 year old grandma used her faith to give her strength...respect for that is the reason i still go to church.......I don't think people need religion to know how to live a righteous life with what is considered to be th christian spirit...i think the conscience will do that for you.

I realize that fighting all battles are counterproductive, but the ease with which I can articulate makes me feel obligated to say what millions of black men were not allowed to or afraid to say...their struggles allowed me to be what I am in life and for that I am humbled and grateful...plus my life and upbringing is something I do not take for granted....I received the best parents anyone could have and their guidance made my adult life a piece of cake with no struggles I did not bring on myself.....my learning abilities and education...grateful for and really humbled by that.....learning beyond my own expectations with ease...very humbling.....but it is the fire inside that comes naturally without any degree of stress.....I really do think that not internalizing anything has aided me.....otherwise, i can see why black people are predisposed to hypertension...being a black man in america is not easy but I think i'm the one for the job.....

Paula Deen tweets photo of her son in brownface
Last year, celebrity chef and racially tone-deaf Paula Deen told Matt Lauer in an exclusive interview that she had allegedly “learned so much” from the backlash she received when racist remarks she once made became public.

After a year’s worth of apologizing, it seem she’s in fact learned very little.

The disgraced food network star tweeted a photo Tuesday morning with the hashtag #TransformationTuesday — of her and her son Bobby dressed as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz from a 2011 episode of her now-cancelled show.

Paula, dressed in a bright red wig and polka dot dress, poses alongside Bobby, who took a more subtle approach to his costume: brownface.

Lets see how they explain this away.

Lucyyyyyyy! You got a lot of esplainin’ to do!

That is because you are emotional...I am not to a great extent so i understand how people can be expressive without their words being indicative of an associated internal emotional state........took lots of years of self-development but I have mastered it.....otherwise you people on OPP alone with your racist hate would have had me taking nerve pills long ago......and that is what some are trying to accomplish...but they'll make themselves bonkers before they make me even blink.....women do that a lot...want everyone to feel like they feel..happy or sad......I learn to engage in people's emotions only when I want to...not when they try to compel me to...how else do you think I could have racists coming at me 5-6 at a time and post smiley faces or say harsh shit in return? If you are a smacktalker...you got to have thick skin...just one will not do.........and it is so sad that many of you try to assign me unhappiness, anger and misfortune....but that is okay...i never gave away moral victories....

and no one can put me down unless i allow it...just like being embarrassed or shamed is predicated on one giving a schit what the next person thinks...i understand the concepts because I was never peer conscious as a kid nor as an adult...and i do things based on my self-perception of my abilities..not relative to anyone else...unless I choose.....self-management...i have faced adversity but once again..never give up moral victories....
