Paula Deen tweets photo of her son in brownface
Last year, celebrity chef and racially tone-deaf Paula Deen told Matt Lauer in an exclusive interview that she had allegedly “learned so much” from the backlash she received when r****t remarks she once made became public.

After a year’s worth of apologizing, it seem she’s in fact learned very little.

The disgraced food network star tweeted a photo Tuesday morning with the hashtag #T***sformationTuesday — of her and her son Bobby dressed as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz from a 2011 episode of her now-cancelled show.

Paula, dressed in a bright red wig and polka dot dress, poses alongside Bobby, who took a more subtle approach to his costume: brownface.

Lets see how they explain this away.

Lucyyyyyyy! You got a lot of esplainin’ to do!

And then there is you and those like you. You are probably the most r****t person that I have ever come in remotely in contact with. Your h**e practically oozes from every comment and post you create.

So you are indeed the pot calling the kettle black!

KHH1 I do not agree with your statement, and see that you continue to bang the drum, that it is second nature. No It is not.

Only a few years ago, I was called, or was actually implied by the choice of his wording, that I was a R****t. He indirectly called me a r****t. because I was white, my white ancestry and heritage.

Because of the education, clothes and car that I drove he assumed that I was given wealth by my parents and he accused that my family and relatives kept the black man down and all my ancestors were all r****t's.

All these claims were false and inaccurate, calmly in front of a group of people, that this incident was in acting out upon.

I told the individual,
1. My family did not come to this country until 1922, that was 68 years after the Civil War, and i'm a first generation American.
2. That my family arrived almost penniless to this country.
3. That I had 14 brothers and sisters that there was nothing to spare with food and hammy-down clothes. That we were not a wealthy family.
4. Every thing that I earned and saved was from my education was paid by myself and was from working two and three jobs.

Finally after saying these facts, I said to him that somehow you have this impression about me, that you seem to imply, that i'm a r****t or bigoted.

His reply was I never said that. I thought a moment and gave him the benefit of the doubt. We shook hands and apologized for the misunderstanding.

A few weeks later, a few people commented on what was said. I humbly, replied and said that he was just misinformed and had the wrong impression of me.

You see KHH1, most of the times it is an assumption, a misunderstanding or impression of what a person said or what they heard from a third party. This is what stirs up animosity between people and or races.

This country is going through some tough times, Economically. The unemployment rate is at 15% to 20 % some states even higher.

One Fifth 20 % of Americans of this country is on some type of government assistance, welfare, food-stamps, WIC and other programs.

Incarceration rate for b****s for crime is at record levels.

Black unemployment are at record levels since the depression and home ownership are at record lows. Everyone is hurting financially. These are the reason for mistrust in this country.

KHH1 If more people took a step back and stopped perpetrating issues and claims of r****m, then this country would be so much better off. In stead of this climate of confrontation and perpetuating R****m, and one-liner glib responses to one another and post articles like yours don't help.

Extend the other cheek, for offenses, and or walk away from ignorant people.

These past few years this country has lost tolerance and acceptance of one another, we as a culture have gone from bad to worse in this country.

Extend the olive branch,

May your heart be filled with peace.

Think twice before fostering ill will towards others.

**I reciprocate on an individual basis and let the other person set the initial tone. That is fair and equal and that is why I am not bothered at all by that approach. It is a real simple approach to complex situations**

You have a real sensible post and I respect your words....but you cannot expect people to be treated like schit continuously and just be forgiving...or expect them to remain mum just so the perps can stay comforted. Even if you have a small dog and kick the hell out of it daily, one day it is going to get fed up and attack whether or not it will succeed....animal and human nature 101

So what do you consider Paula since she was the N-word queen and wanted to have events where b****s dressed as s***es and now the "brownface"?....what are your views on HER? Was it r****t for me and this magazine to note her behavior?

What's so complex.

The woman lost her live hood for her comments, she apologized for her bigotry, she stopped with the stereo-typing.

At some point and time forgiveness is the issue here.

Christ said to forgive 7 times 77.

At some point in time one needs to move forward in their lives and get past the nonsense. Its all about attaining peace and harmony in our lives.

These issues come and go, we all need to admit our errors.

Improve, not disprove. Move forward on this post thread. Stop living in the past stop being the victim.

Learn to be gracious and extend the olive branch.

She just did this after all of the past incidents...if you notice, the article stated that obviously she did not learn anything from that........she and others are the ones that need to change, not those who notice and/or offended by her actions.....many w****s also find this kind of behavior unacceptable...........

The things i claim are true and verified by research and publications.....I know that is waay over your pointy little inbred head....but acknowledging r****m only upsets r****ts...because it makes them examine themselves and also lets them realize that they are not "pulling the wool" over no one else's eyes..
