Take the time to study America's banking 'debacle'-for want of a better description-and why and how it DOESN'T work (except for a few very-very-very rich--hmmm--so who do you think America's 'debt' is owed to?) For Geezer and folks like him-I implore them to take the time to study what is going on CURRENTLY behind CLOSED doors regarding jobs and America's trade programs--(and especially 'who') is doing the deal. Another hint-you ain't gonna find labor there--as in representatives of the working class. A new international 'trade' agreement (described as NAFTA on steroids) is being negotiated IN SECRET -right now-by your rich -and always 'looking out for your interests'- corporate and politically conservative buddies. All the while they have us 'arguing' about park access or being able to visit a national monument or memorial-even to the point of their shutting down the whole shebang over what some recognize as nothing but a 'red herring'. Egad-they have us fighting over -HEALTH CARE- for the people. Huh--this isn't a bad thing folks-it is life and death to put it as simple as I can! So what is wrong with a government that provides 'stuff' for its citizens like the ACA-there is nothing 'not to like' about it! Howcum we always have money for multiple wars (which I think we can agree is a bad thing?), bombs, bullets, $150,000 Hummers to get blown up by the thousands in the desert, and plenty of drones and systems to spy on Americans. Hmmmm-why and for WHOM? But no money for the poor and needy-'hell no aren't they all just a bunch of deadbeats'-another huh--what about the 'working poor' which makes up a huge part of food stamp recipients? Folks-your hate is pathetic-your reasoning-faulty-and your information horribly flawed. For all youse guys who don't 'get it'-wise up before it is too late! The 'red meat' is there for all to learn the truth about! We have met the enemy and it is rich, corporate America and their hired guns-the conservative, Republican politicians of America. More on 'trade'--have you noticed who loves NAFTA-hint: it ain't labor--who hates NAFTA-hint: it ain't big corporate America. If you liked NAFTA-you're gonna love this new 'deal'--hoo boy does this look, walk, and quack like George Bush's 'New World Order". If you say there are persons behind the scenes who significantly affect the direction in which the country is heading, I have to agree with you, and they do want a "total transformation" from our free society.
If you are saying the government is good at providing "free" stuff, you couldn't be more wrong. Any money the government spends comes from the citizens of the country.
An example of personal experience with "free" meals; A private group that sponsored bingo had a volunteer group that provided lunch meals for the participants. The charge was $3.00 for the meal, it paid for all food and services. For some unknown reason, the leader of the group contracted with a company that provided meals "free" to persons above a certain age, it didn't work out that way, the charge for the meal was still $3.00. Good job, right? However, for every meal served by this company the government paid (unknown by the recipients of the meals) $6.00 to the company for their "administrative and other costs" making the meals now a true $9.00 cost, with the true cost hidden from most persons involved. Add to that the cost of the govt bureaucracy needed to administer this program and you have the real cost of "free" stuff from the government. True Story.
This "free" health care bill is pretty much the same story, consider the IRS adding 16,000 workers, and all the computer systems, on and on....YOU pay those bills behind the scenes.

Dennis, You have fought a good fight but you know nothing will change the mindset of the Obamacrats; they drank the Kool-Aid and obviously can't think for themselves. However, I must make several comments that came to mind during the reading of everything in this post. First, the news article referenced was totally opinion as was said, one can go back and I challenge them to find one item that was backed by fact. Secondly, on the lighter side did Sammy Davis Jr. look Jewish. Thirdly, as I have said many times previously the ACA is not about healthcare it is about control. That's not to say that some will not benefit with some healthcare issue being covered but all those benefiting will be poor and we already had those people covered with Medicaid. Fourth, as you said the Federal Reserve is pumping money into the system every month and as soon as they stop all hell will break loose in the Market and globally and if the interest rate goes up two percent there goes that liability thing again. Has anyone here run figures on a two percent increase of interest on our deficit . There goes our credit rating and Reserve status. Last but not least, Obama has used his useful idiots to put into effect the largest future cost liability this nation has even seen. That liability would be in the form of monetary cost to the nation, jobs loss for our citizens and business failures due to ACA and EPA regulations which means a reduction in revenue. The unintended consequences will be catastrophic and the powers in government and especially in Washington will benefit to the tune of between one to two Trillion dollars per year on new companies and investments all subsidized by the government with no structured repayment plan. In other words the elitists will skim the profits and leave the taxpayers holding the bag. Now Richard, go back and read your article with that in mind and see if you have a different take on their objective.

Dennis, I hate to bring bad news to someone like you so happy in your delusion. The opposition to Obamacare is growing, not deminishing. It wll grow ever faster as people learn more about it, it's cost, it's encroachment on our free will and the long wait for any medical service
The whole goal of this bill is population control and government enslavement. It provides for the government paid killing of thousands of pre-born infants and the neglect and slow death to those over age seventy.
People who are 70 or older are no longer people or patients. They are "Units." Units are not promised ANY care but are promised to be kept "comfortable".
Read the bill Denise, if you can spare the hours it takes, and if you can understand it I doubt you will be so eager to be enslaved, as Dr. Ben Carlson called it. You may also want to look up Dr. Carlson, and if you don't here is a thumb nail sketch. He is BLACK, and international well known Neurosurgeon who had the courage to speak the truth to Obama's face. His reward was an almost immediate audit by the IRS.
