What it has in common with Health Care is that both are inefficient government programs used to buy the v**e of uninformed people with their own money; give you something "free" but keep the real costs hidden like in the free meals. YOU AND I STILL HAVE TO PAY THE ASSOCIATED HIDDEN COSTS WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS! When the Feds implement more free stuff than we can afford (and have to borrow money) we also pay interest on the money which only further elevates the real cost of government v**e getting "free" entitlements.

Understand these people are not smart enough to figure out or follow the logic of what you say. They only care about what they can see in their little palm of their begging hands. Obama knows this, why do you think he bought v**es by giving our free cell phones to these poor people with their little hands out. I'm going to v**e for Obama because I got a Free Cellphone. One woman interviewed was so happy Obama was elected because " I don't have to worry about paying my mortgage any longer" I wonder if she still thinks she will not have to pay her mortgage after it was foreclosed on?
People are stupid for the most part and certainly the poor people are at least easily led by a tyrant such as Obama, they will believe anything he says, without question.
They are not concerned about the overall cost of something, only if they can hold it in their begging hands for little or no costs. They have no clue or could care less about the effect their little handout is costing the country. '
That is the perfect supporter for Obama and other would be dictators and unfortunately, there are a bunch of them in this country.

The purpose of calling someone a r****t, is to shut them up, when you can't defend your ideals, name calling is what you do, and with Obama, it's a useful tool to silence opposition, which is exactly what Obama and the Democrats want to do. Remember when Hillary screeched that protest was the highest form of patriotism, gee that doesn't seem to be the case now that Obama is sitting in the White House, now protest is r****t, and unpatriotic. And does anyone remember the Democrats saying when Bush was in office, well he won so he gets to have his way, nope they fought everything he did tooth and nail, and Pelosi, and Reid constantly whined about the minority being thrown under the bus when there was a majority of Republicans in the House and Senate. Saul Alinski tactics to the letter

Rick, It is very encouraging to find that there are many more people who do understand what is really going on/continuing with this administration. As a citizen of this country, I want to let you know I appreciate your efforts. (Glenn Beck is a national treasure.)

I think there are many true patriots an America, who see the very ugly t***h about Obama and the Democrats, as well as the collaborative media, the main problem is with those that have been elected to represent us, they either abet the corruption ignore it, or are too cowardly to do what's right, it is somewhat hopeful that there seems to be a small few who are are willing to stand for t***h and the Constitution

Jean, you had better get back onto your medication. Your post is simply paranoid.

Obamacare law, which few have read, demands that the government be allowed to implant a micro-chip into our bodies. Children are first. It calls for our medical records to be sent to Washington to a federal data bank. The act allows the government to free access to our checking accounts to take money without our consent. There is more.

As free Americans are we really going to allow the government to have that kind of control over us as free citizens? This control and yes, oppression, is not the kind of country my ancestors fought and some died for. It is not the type of totalitarian society I want to live in and there are many thousands who would agree with me. They are among those with the courage and conviction to break down the barricades our government erected at national monuments. They are among the truckers who drove at their own expense, to Washington in protest of the ever increasing reach of the government. And yes, they are among the thousands who are standing on overpasses across the country with Impeach Obama signs.
Never in the history of our country have we seem this encroachment on citizen's privacy. The Orwellian type directives and surveillance we learn about every day.
Liberal may cheer the mistreatment of conservatives and continue to spew the lies about patriotic fellow Americans who will, in the final analysis, lead the way peacefully back to a free America or lead the citizens army into battle. It's clear to me that it's either or and if I were a betting person I know which one I would put my money on.

Rick, the people who disagree with your views are as patriotic as you are.

You are wrong in saying that statistics have not yet been released. Some have been for California, for instance, also some for other states. Computer glitches have not been present in many of the states' enrollment sites. So right off the bat you are WRONG !

More people are loosing their health insurance than have enrolled at this point.
This article is from Kaiser..http://www.kaiserhealthnews.org/Stories/2013/October/21/cancellation-notices-health-insurance.aspx

All this was predicted by the CBO back in March 2012

OK, I want you all to read this VERY carefully please.

The things mentioned in this article are spot on and I know this for a FACT because my hospital has been making these changes. I have mentioned them numerous times (mostly in my way older posts)and every time they said... well what about this part (not at all the topic of the article)? Or they doubled my premiums (before October 1st even rolled around). Or death squads and micro chips (seriously there are people out there who still say this????)?

I can't tell you if it will fail or if it will work. What I can tell you is that the things mentioned in this article are happening and have been happening at care conscious major metropolitan hospitals. We have been prepared.... I mean they did get it back in 2010.

The main goals have been focused on improving the patients experience (right drug/right patient, preventing bed sores or urinary infections that can be caused in a hospital setting, any infection caused in a hospital actually, if the patient felt they had been educated while in the hospital about their meds and procedures, how they felt the staff took care of them, were they offered the bathroom, re-positioning and about their pain frequently), and if we don't always do all these things? We get lower reimbursement from medicare.

I have been saying this for a while so thank you Richard for posting it up. So few people notice that part and it is my entire job description to make it so for each patient. Care has improved.. that isn't just make believe I promise

Oh, and btw,, The states who aren't having as many problems come from the states who did their own websites... and the ones who will see more money back are the ones who expanded their medicare and took the offers offered in the ACA. Its mostly red states having problems because they didn't want to do those things (that were clearly laid out as best for their states)because then they would look like they supported Obama and would lose funding from the right.

Kind of like shooting yourself in the foot just to prove that you can. Doesn't make much sense

It is mostly the states who are using the federal website that do not work. It has nothing to do with red state blue state. It has everything to do with those who let the federal government handle it and the ones who did it themselves. States are more efficient. Map

My point was that the states who prepared and who actually understood this was law were ready. They haad their sites up and running early even. The states who kept fighting this stupid fight trying to delay or defund it when it was never gonna happen are the ones having problems because they added a tremendous amount of work to the government because the states refused to do what they could for their constituents.

You have no idea what you are talking about. There are states operating their own websites. States partially operating their own websites and the government exchange website. The states using the government exchange website or linked to the government website are not working. The only lack of pr********n and testing which occurred was on the part of the Obama administration. So you are claiming Obama did not know the law was coming and did not prepare? Its the FEDERAL WEBSITE that is not working.

For people who h**e big government and want the states to have more control it makes no sense that they were happy to let the government do it for them
