Think hard about your anti immigration stance, and teach your kids to speak Chinease. This will happen if the Liberals and Obastard continue to run the middle class into the ground.

The middle class started it's downward spiral 40 years ago when this man, Virginia corporate lawyer Lewis Powell , wrote a memo to the US Chamber of Commerce in essence declaring war on liberalism, unions , The FDR New Deal in what amounted to a manifesto to reclaim government and America for capitalism, with a plan for how to go about it. Three weeks later Richard Nixon nominated Powell to the SCOTUS. By 1992 his plan had succeeded

Don't you realize that unions support republicans who promote policy's that are good for working people? If republicans want union support they need to work to strengthen labor law and support the middle class, the few who do get union support and endorsements and union members contributions. Sadly these republicans are few and far apart.

Hey shit for brains, who asked you anything.

What you have to offer on any subject is less than O.

There are no shoe makers in the US today and it has nothing to do with union wages it has to do with so called free trade with nations with no labor, safety or environmental standards. If labor had the clout it used to, deals like this would never be made and those good manufacturing jobs would still be in the mills and factories of the US. When labor and working families loose their influance our nation also looses.

I told you fool. You don't know what the hell your talking about. Re-stick your head back up your ass and have lunch.

I have taken the liberty of correcting your basic mistake in your last post. It should read:

We want an America that is still the world's strongest force for peace and freedom. And we want an America that is coming together around our enduring values, instead of drifting apart.".

With their war against Unions, and amazingly convincing their base to agree with this Elite-mandate, Republicans have guaranteed the end to the Middle Class. A job will not be called indentured servitude, but that will be the reality.

The only workers that the Unions represents are "the sick, lame, and lazy".

Let's make the assumption, as a voter I am on the fence.

I am no fan of the current Republican party, I think for the most part, they are a bunch of self proclaimed righteous , parasites.
Tell me how the Democrats are different. :?:

You forgot something! You failed to subtract the number who got laid off. But, you're excused. Our government schools didn't train you to think, just to believe and parrot back all the propaganda any "authority figure" tells you.

No, they would confirm the ignorance (and corruption) of THEIR ways!

I left out stupidity because I am only familiar with the other two among members of that group.

The established unions have played a role in protecting and promoting workers' rights in some circumstances, but they do not challenge the true injustice, the idea that it is OK for the few to make the decisions, own the factory, and keep the profits.

By acting as intermediaries between the workforce and the bosses, the big established unions simply make the whole system run more smoothly.

If we try and survive outside this system, we end up poor, homeless, in prison. Under capitalism, money, background, education, and class determine how much freedom and control people have in their lives.

If you are poor, working class, black, female, foreign you are likely to have worse education and job opportunities, worse housing conditions, poorer health care provision, you are more likely to go to prison, and for longer terms, and you will die earlier, than those who come from wealthier, more privileged backgrounds.

Integration and bussing kids all over the cities was to insure that all people got the same education back in the day..then you had affirmative action to give unfair advantage to minority's...if people are to lazy to take advantage of a system or systems that were created to help them, whose fault is that?

Have you owned your own business....if they just kept their profits as you say they wouldn't be in business very long...the injustices I see are the lefties lying for an agenda whereby their reps are getting filthy rich..Clintons anyone, or how about Gore, Pelosi, Reid, Gruber....etc...

You have a real point there. Maybe what America needs instead of a minimum wage, is a minimum "Standard" of living. See what Republicans think of that. Although I don't think the Democrats would want it either. They seem to interested in every American being dependent on the government for everything. No any better I think.

Too many variables for that to work. Each person is an individual, and there can not be a "one standard fits all" developed that would satisfy the requirements for it as a standard.

It would be nice if the country wanted to establish a standard below which they would not want a citizen to fall. When someone is found to qualify for this standard, they would automatically be given help up, with no "stigma" attatched. But it would never be a full-time crutch, but not a "one time only" thing either, as some will perhaps need a hand more than once, but encouragement rather than stigmatize.

I would love to see our people care that much about each other, with no regard as to ethnicity, gender, or education.
Moral turpitude may play a part, but not a decisive one.

Even nasty people can be encouraged occasionally, to lay aside the nasty attitude and admit a need. I would support that.

What a load of unbelievably 99/100% pure, unadulterated leftist, communist pig shit...The socialist Democrat (today that's all Democrats) is NOT, I repeat NOT an American by any stretch of the imagination. They may (or may not) be citizens of the United States with whom we Americans unfortunately have to share that geographic space but they are not Americans by even the most generous measure.

America is a concept, not a place on a map. The Democrat Party of the United States was formed and has existed for only one reason; to destroy the American constitution which is violently antithetical to the Democrat leftist ideological vision of an intellectually subdued, passive and obedient collective.

The vision of the Democrat party above all else is the 'level playing field' on which there is no individual but only a collective of uncurious, dull witted, unproductive slugs (can you say Trumka?) who suck from the teat of the ever expanding government that it is their singular goal to create...

The fact that the kind of pig shit you write above rolls so easily out of your ass while the the Democrat Party has for the past 70 years worked in direct opposition to these claims and the current Democrat president has shredded the constitution should be proof enough for any thinking person just how f**king dangerous you people truly are to the near term survival of the entire human race.
