I have said this before...without the air support we received at the siege of Khe Sanh, primarily from the Air Force but to include Naval and Marine Air also, mine and other units would have much more Hell to pay. My son served in the Air Force in the 90s, and I couldn't have been more proud of him.
That is, of course, unless he had been a Marine.
