Lt. General McMaster is a sterling choice. However they came up with him to replace Flynn was sheer genius. Everything lacking in all his other choices in his WH, and in himself, is embodied in this one man. Which may be a problem for his chaotic team, each vying for power. Trump's new security advisor differs from him on Russia, and other key issues. And he is not a "yes-man" consumed by personal ambition and the desire for power. He defines both patriot and statesman. He will not be cowed. Trump will not like this one bit.
But if Trump has a chance to last more than a year, however doubtful, Bannon should now be obsolete and "Little Goebbels," Stephen Miller, should now return to his crypt. But they won't go away, I am afraid. When a man of utmost integrity like McMaster is on the scene, the juxtaposition of values with those who surround Trump will lead to enormous tension and in-fighting. If this somehow leads to McMaster asked to resign, there is little hope for this country unless we impeach Trump or force him to resign when he is obligated to release for his tax returns, exposing his Russian ties and many areas of compromising conflicts-of-interest, such as with China. Trump talks with their government and the next thing we know he is given a huge boon by that government in awarding him a ten-year trademark on his name, after year long fight. Out of the blue. Coincidence? How could he accept this gift? It spits on the Constitution. It is in brazen violation of the Constitution: Article I, Section 9, Clause 8: Emoluments Clause. Not "f**e news."
However, should Trump and his staff actually yield and respect what McMaster has brought to this group of dirty clowns, there is a chance the president may actually make a difference and turn this country around.

Trump will not last a year. As soon as he is forced to show his tax returns, he will resign. Or incompetency hearings will have the same effect. He is a sick man. Sad!
showing his tax return is not required, it is only a courtesy that previous presidents have done so.

Wanna make a wager? You l*****ts love to make stupid predictions, and fortunately they never come true.
Tax return? Does it get any stupider? This is how desperate they are. They better start looking at polls from those pollsters they so love. Seems the average American people are quite satisfied with Trump policies. Only the far left, i******s, and the MSM seem to be having a meltdown.

To START,, THERE IS NO LAW,That says Donald has to release his tax returns....ABSOLUTELY NO LAW. Now,this BS about impeachment, impeachment is a trial to find out ,IF the POTUS,should be tried and convicted,of wh**ever charges they want to bring......EVEN IF,Donald was tried, convicted, and thrown out as potus, the line of sucession,is so long,(and) kilary and obozo are not in that line of sucession, they could NEVER,EVER,EVER, be potus, without an e******n. Besides which, with the REPUBLICANS (except for the rinos) in power, the impeachment would fail,

No, it is not a courtesy. It is extended as courtesy to honorable me. All previous presidents have dutifully revealed their tax returns as a matter of trust and t***sparency to the public. Trump has refused. Why? He kept saying he would under this or that condition, and when those conditions were met, he made up new conditions. Whether or not he is actually hiding something that may be damaging in those tax returns is unknown. But why promise to reveal them and then renege? He could have said "It's private! and I ain't gonna do it" and fine. People would have loved him more for that. "In their face, Donald!" Yet instead he kept promising to do so and ultimately refused. That is suspicious. Not an indictment, just suspicious. And then when he refused to divest himself of his financial empire and put it in a blind trust, any thinking person would be at the very least curious. "What is he hiding?"

It's only a question of how long someone like McMasters can stomach someone like Trump--good vs evil and I doubt in this case good has any chance of beating evil.

The point of a courtesy is to allow honorable men to do the honorable thing of their own volition, as in the case of Tax returns all presidents have conformed. Trump refused. Like giving smelly grandma a kiss on the cheek: a courtesy that is expected. Call it tradition. To refuse to comply with a courtesy or to break a tradition usually comes with a principled reason. Trump has given none. All along he has promised to reveal those returns if certain conditions by him were met, and as each were met he just avoided the topic, never giving any principled reason why he deferred. Instead of continually promising to release those forms and reneging each time, making a stand on wh**ever principle from the start would have worked. He did not. Why not?
Do you even know how a blind trust works? You can't unknow your property. Also there's no legal statute I am aware of demanding Trump put his assets in a blind trust.

You are one very under-educated person. A blind trust does not mean you (lol, too finny, sorry) "unknow" your property, it means you are not in control of your property. There is only the Constitution that prohibits profiting through his agency as president in gifts, gratuities, or special favor, such as the recent gift from China granting Trump a trademark on his name, that was still in the courts until he personally spoke to Xi Jinping. What a coincidence.
