The extreme left manipulated the "anarchy in the streets" in the late 60s. Now the extreme right aspires to do the same near half a century later. I've always said the two extremes are the same crazy...c*******t and n**i same result, same method of operation.

the 'extreme left' that you refer to in the late 60's were forcing in 'new change' which in fact strengthened the belief in our founding fathers documents of inception (all of them) by recognizing the civil rights movement going on back then. the constitution says we are individuals...this includes all peoples and the late 60's secured that for b****s. key words in that sentence (strengthened the belief). the 'extreme right' that you also refer to 50 years later have seen 'individuality' stripped away piece by piece, year after year and have had enough of the one-size-fitz-all sub-mentality mindset being shoved every witch way but loose because it weakens the belief...key word (weakens) in our constitution...the fairest document of all. people who want to change the constitution should be treated the same as our advisarys overseas and thatz what the 'extreme right', along with myself like to see happen. capiechio

Such a bully, Geezer. In the new school you'd be in remediation. Is your old style gang-up bully style why you don't like and can't adjust to new ways? Strange, I went to a school with 1000 students in East Tennessee and don't recall but one bully I encountered in 4 years. Nice people. What in the heck happened to you that you're the way you are? Your whole camp is a class of people I haven't encountered in my nice middle class life. Moreover, I taught 26 years in small town northwestern Illinois where I knew all classes high, middle, and low--and never saw such crudeness (except a bullying of a poor girl the first year I taught--wish I could remember the details...might help me understand your situation, Old School Geezer).

The more you speak of your wonderful middle class life, and how you remember the sixties, I can't help but wonder if you base your wonderful middle class life on "Leave it to Beaver," or "Ozzie and Harriet." Here I thought the "Twilight Zone" was a fictional show, but you appear to be stuck in it. (That was early sixties also, come to think of it). If you are uncomfortable in the real world, Don Quixote, you can always find other windmills on other forums more suited to your mythical middle class values, with which to try conclusions.

Those who protested in the 60's just went underground for a few years. They are now the professors and politicans of today. That is why liberalism is so wide spread. we (The Real Americans) are beings betrayed from within. Svil has lots of patience.

Those who protested back then set this country into a nosedive

Late 60s anti-war demonstrations were extreme l*****t with some organizers' intent to support Soviet and revolutionary agenda. Early 60s civil rights demonstrations were careful, very careful, not to be extreme and aimed at change without violence or extremes. I know from personal observation regarding the civil rights movement. I consider the LOCK AND LOAD mentality of the extreme right to be our equivalent to N**ism, an extreme of the right just as c*******m was an extreme of the left.

Seems as if i see a personal attack in the "LOCK AND LOAD" comment since I am the one who signs out in that manner. And I have seen you flopping you gums more than once about us so called "right wing extremist". All I have to say to you and the other liberals on this site .....all of you go right ahead , keep you heads buried up your ass, keep believing in your GREAT president, keep believing in Obama care, keep trying to let all the i******s aliens in the country, because when the crap hits the fan:a dumb, ignorant, stupid, enemy is easier to deal with; and most of you will have given up your guns, so you are going to be a causality. And you know what ? I personally won't shed a tear your demise.... Frankly I'm tired of all you liberals bulls**t talk, its getting old. LOCK AND LOAD

It's simply Angery's personal expression. It is somewhere between the Will Farrell movie 'Talledega Nights' character Ricky Bobby saying "Shake n Bake" and the Patrick Henry saying "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death". But it doesn't appear to involve any N**i undertones.

te=OldSchool]Still haven't learned how to use this forum.

Take your beady little socialist eyes and look down at the bottom of the posting you want to respond to. Do you see the blue underlined Quote_Reply? Now, take your mouse and click on that, and VOILE! A box will pop up with the text of the person you're responding to. Now take your mouse and click at the end of all that text, hit the enter key to start a new paragraph, and then you can start typing your warped response. Got it?[/quote]

Hey oldschool I cant make my 1995 HP mini laptop do what you want so you can get my socialist response. Here it is.... So what I don't know how to use a computer. I bust my ass all day Roofing building remodeling etc. I am a licensed general contractor and I work for a living. I don't merely just live and sit my ass in front of a computer all day long for the fun of it. I am a redneck a veteran and a Catholic. I am also an elected public official and donate my time and labor for zero compensation. I am the president of the board I serve on and have been on this board for 9 years giving my all to the people I serve. If that makes me a socialist in your eyes so be it. I still wish you well and all Americans a happy life regardless of beliefs. All the best and thanks for your kind reply.

They were what? VERY CAREFUL??? Weather Underground Organization bombed NYC were first organized in 1969 as a faction of Students for a Democratic Society. With revolutionary positions characterized by Black power and opposition to the Vietnam War, the group conducted a campaign of bombings through the mid-1970s, and took part in actions such as the jailbreak of Timothy Leary. The "Days of Rage", their first public demonstration on October 8, 1969, was a r**t in Chicago timed to coincide with the trial of the Chicago Seven. In 1970 the group issued a "Declaration of a State of War" against the United States government, under the name "Weather Underground Organization" Now who was a member of the WUO, maybe Bill Ayers.

I think the civil rights movement was merited, however the anti war movement was more violent, I also think that both movements produced a very liberal bent to various parts of our population that became a target for outside elements to invade our country.

Look closely at the antiwar movement and you'll find many of those l*****t still around. Today's democrat ignores it or pretends it didn't happen. Having been a teen at that time I had interest seeing how Nam might be in my future.
