What Tonga has to do with this subject is that you and several other people are whining about how the United States is veering towards totalitarian rule when you have never seen or experienced totalitarian rule and don't know the first thing about it. If you want to know what totalitarian rule is, take a look at Tonga's. I thought from the contest of the discussion that you would understand this, but I guess I have had to explain it.

Then since yuou didn't understand what was perfectly clear from my post, let me put it another way. It is true that nobody has to experience something to know they don't want it. But you are complaining that the United States is creeping into totalitarian rule. If you compare what is happening in the United States with real totalitarian rule. your term "totalitarian rule" is just hyperbole. You think you are experiencing "totalitarian rule" when in fact you are not. You have never seen the real thing, even though you claim you are experiencing it. Seems like whining to me.
