If you put both parties on a scale of good and evil, I think the GOP would out weight on the evil side by far. Just my opinion base on what I hear them say and see them do.

We are told not to judge, but when it comes time to v**e we have to make a decision, even if it is between the lesser of two evils.

Could you show me where Jesus spoke about homosexuality? The darnedest thing I can't find anything, anywhere.

The reason you can't find it is your biblical knowledge is very limited & any theology is practically non-existent.
Matthew 5:17-18 "think not that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets:I am not come to destroy but to
fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all fulfilled.
Jesus said "I and the Father are One"..and all the way to his last earthly breath, he declared that He was here to do the Fathers will.....and any thing that was an a*********n to the Father before, STILL is Now and always will be.
Jesus didn't HAVE to spell it out....He was more than VERY clear about MARRIAGE in Matthew 19:4-6 ...."Have ye not READ, that which He made them at the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE, And said, FOR THIS CAUSE SHALL A MAN LEAVE FATHER AND MOTHER, AND SHALL CLEAVE TO HIS WIFE: AND THEY TWAIN SHALL BE ONE FLESH?
Notice Jesus words, but also notice in the scriptures they are all CAPITAL letters in red....not male and male or female and female....but MALE AND FEMALE.
And anything else from this Jesus said was sexual immorailty...which I'm pretty sure you did, or at least you should have found.
Another reason you may have not found anything is because you simply didn't want to
Wh**ever the reason I Pray that God opens your heart and your mind to seek His t***h more diligently.

Amen,
I agree that the GOP track record has never beenin the best interest of the poor nor even the Poor middleclass
I have also been face with that lesser of the 2 evils..If you don't v**e you are just as guilty for doing Nothing.
I am a veteran from the 60s, so yes I'mdeeply concerned about our veterans past and especially present.
And I'm also concerned about all the aid we give to other countries while we have children and people starving right here..

Your argument reminds me of something I heard a preacher say once. He said that he could prove that David rode a motorcycle, because he "Triumphed throughout the land."

You can play all kinds of word games with the Bible and think you have found the t***h. Knowing the t***h is not enough, one must know God. When you do, it gives you a much greater perspective, and forgiveness comes easy while judgement dwindles.

One major key, IMHO, is reincarnation. Take that out and everything else falls apart. God gives you a few years to determine whether you spend eternity in a heaven with gold streets, or in the flames of hell.

I am a Vietnam vet too. I recall that the people there had no idea why there was a war going on. Then I learned that an aircraft company had pleaded to keep the war going for another six months for their budgets sake. Ike warned of the military industrial complex, but there are some who love it for the sake of making money. Something I heard out of the mouth of a devout Republican.

Didn't Jesus say something about not being able to worship God and Mammon (money).

I do not see the Dems as "Lesser." The Democrats are the party of Someone Else's Money. Their visceral response to solving any problem is to throw large amounts of someone else's money at it. If that doesn't fix it, why, then, it wasn't a problem after all. Their solution for everything is another bureaucracy, more government, more regulations. You claim that Republicans are the party of the rich, and the corporations, yet if you google the GAO's figures, you will find that the Democrats received more corporate donations than the Republicans. There are more Democratic multi-millionaires in Congress than Republicans. The gap between rich and poor has grown faster during the Obama Administration than during the Bush Administration. Where is your logic? What lesser of two evils?

Not logic just history BEFORE Obama...What he is I'm not sure. But I don't believe Obama IS or even has the right to be classified as a Republican or a Democrat.
The real problem is we are always TOO busy trying to Label each other and point fingers.
Instead of political parties, race, nationatilty, religious denominations,etc.,etc.....Why can't we BE what we tell the rest of the world...AMERICAN CITIZENS?!...that my friend is the Logical thing to do

Yes ...He said "No man can Serve two masters: for either he will h**e the one,and love the other,or he will hold to one and despise the other.Ye cannot Serve God and Mammon." Matt. 6:24
He also declares in Matt. 6:21 "For where your treasure is,there will be your heart also"
This my friend has been the history and trend of our govt. for A LONG time

I don't know about you But I've been knowing God for a long, long time...I'm still not where I'd like to be but I'm a whole lot further than where I was...and by doing inventory each and EVERY day, I'm getting closer and closer. 26 years ago I was delivered from 31 years of alcohol and drugs...And a whole list of baggage that came with it...and having an addictive personality,I still have some other things I'm working on..
When you talk about forgiveness, you leave out one critical point.....REPENTANCE!...Yes Jesus says Come As You Are,...But He DOES NOT EXPECT YOU TO STAY AS YOU ARE!
I can see you also are very misinformed ,like so many of us today...God does Not give You ,Me or Anybody else A Few Years...Repent Now, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at a hand..

either one of us could die in the next few seconds...Are You Ready or do you think you still got a few years?...Because wheb he comes again, the Word says, the dead IN CHRIST shall Rise FIRST!
Call it what you want...This is not about Word Games..This About T***H...and we must pray study and worship in T***h....If you are not ready for T***h,...then so be it

There are many things that Jesus didn't say. I am sure that there are also many things he said that didn't make it in there. However, the things in there that he didn't say (ie. things Paul said) are just as holy as the things he said himself. The Bible is the infallable and inspired word of God. The words in there are God's own words regardless of who put them on paper.

I think it is interesting how christians cherry pick things out of the Old Testament to suit their arguments. If they actually accepted everything in the Old Testament, they would look like the Taliban.

I hope you realize that our congress is only republican controlled by v**e at the moment and that there are democrats working alongside the republicans at the moment, hence the budget. If the lazy Arrogent democrats would have went to work and worked with the republicans earlier the White House would not have shut down government. The news said congress shut down government, that in itself is the lie, congress gets to v**e on bills , so does the president. The president has the final say, open for business or not! Congress only holds the purse strings. I agree that taxes should be raised on the richest of the nation and I also say stop foreign aid first.
