Irony #1. We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few "lunatics."
But on the other hand, we are also encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Irony #2. The food stamp program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing, this year, the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever, to 47.5 million people as of the most recent figures available in April, 2013.

Meanwhile, the National Parks Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Don't Feed the Animals."

Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Tell me what is missing in these two cases of governmental bumbling.
Irony #1. We are told not to judge all Muslims by ... (show quote)

Irony #1: I don't see anyone "judging all gun owners". I see governments trying to protect innocents from the "few lunatics."

Irony #2: The difference between humans without jobs and bears is that there is other wildlife and vegetation for the bears to eat. Create more decent-paying jobs for Americans (like there used to be), and they will flock to them.

If we don't have enough jobs for Americans why are we even discussing amnesty?

Because, as I mentioned before, with the exception of the Cuban community, Hispanics v**e overwhelmingly Democratic. This is why Dems favor amnesty and oppose v**er ID.

Several reasns: they're already here and rounding up seven million illegal Mexicans would destroy our & Mexico's economy as well as our national credibility with ourselves and the world. The jobs these i******s hold are jobs Americans won't do for the most part. Essential for this huge number of illegal residents to have defined work & residential status--taxation, driver's licenses & insurance, etc.--but not v****g status. Essential to insist on documented status so that future undocumented entry can be defined and result in deportation. The legislation must be definitive and program of enforcement within year nationwide--every farm, every factory, every neighborhood door to door and everything on record, with lack of registration and documentation after that 12 months basis for round up and deportation. Leaving the situation to fester compounds the problem. I regard the above as the true conservative and pragmatic solution to the problem of existing illegal Latin American immigration. Legal immigration and work residence is a separate matter that needs addressing also.

I know you Cheese Heads don't see much of it in Wisconsin

Sorry but claiming these are jobs Americans won't do is an old argument that is no longer valid. Here in NJ they are doing most of the construction for example. Sheetrock, Masonry, Wood Floors etc. I have a friend who owned a Wood Floor refinishing company with 5 vans and 12 workers. A company owned and run by i******s undercut the market. Now more have opened up. My friend is down to 1 van 1 employee. And this is without amnesty. Add amnesty and the few employers who fear hiring them will begin. Billions of dollars and sent back to Mexico via wire t***sfer.

You would have a hard time proving that statement. I'm pretty sure I've seen sasquatch v**e. Then again, that might start a debate about whether squatches are animals or some sort of human. Then THAT starts a debate about whether some " humans " are in fact, animals. More irony.

Were these competitors i******s or legals?

Do you realize the extent of Americanization of Mexico? It is virtually a 51st state. Latin America is a major part of the developing world and the only part with a degree of revolutionary movement. Our Latin American population and its success, contribution, and integration in our America will be as important in our future relationship and example to our nearest continentals as the various past European immigrations have been in our relationship to Europe. That's the larger picture at stake in solving the i*****l i*******ts problem pragmatically.

They are i******s and they only take cash. We thought NAFTA was supposed to take care of the illegal problem by creating jobs in Mexico.

Mexico is NOT virtually a 51st state nor does it want to be. That country has a different language, a different culture, and a different standard of living, and it would be completely unfeasible to "annex" it. The Mexican government loves dumping its i******s on this country because it means fewer mouths for them to feed. Every time a politician says anything about completing the border fence or any other measure to curtail i*****l i*********n, the president of Mexico screams bloody murder. It seems every country but the United States is allowed to have its own i*********n l*ws and borders and not be questioned about it. But us? NOOOOOO! Securing our border is R****T!

That wasn't Sasquatch, that was my buddy Steve. Sasquatch is both smaller, and smarter.
