These are two ironies that are hard for me to understand

Irony #1. We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few "lunatics."
But on the other hand, we are also encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Irony #2. The food stamp program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing, this year, the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever, to 47.5 million people as of the most recent figures available in April, 2013.

Meanwhile, the National Parks Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Don't Feed the Animals."

Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Tell me what is missing in these two cases of governmental bumbling.

Why do we continue to expect "reason" from people who have agendas? It is good, however, to point out reason's lack. Perhaps, and only perhaps, learning will take place.

Thank you Carolyn for such clear examples of the lack of wisdom in the so called leadership in this country.
Could I have your permission to copy this and use it in other communications?

You have my permission, and I hope you pass this on so people with a little common sense, unlike any Democrats I have met, will see the real reason this government keeps wanting to take our guns. It is everything but the paltry few that are k**led by the lunatics that should be in institutions but are allowed to walk around and murder innocent people.

Perhaps we should swap personnel and charters between the two Depts., without telling them of course. Maybe that would put things on a more even keel?

Much better than your "crooked mainstream media" thread! Congratulations, Carolyn. But you should have left out the "governmental bumbling" blurb and let the ironies speak for themselves.
