It's not illegal to mention Jesus or Mohammed or Buddha or Zeus in a historical or philosophy content in schools. You just can't mention the bible as factual because it not factual it's a religion . Noah's ark? Seriously ?

One thing you have to remember--Science is PROVING more and more things are actually TRUE.

Liberalism's inability to accept the parabolic nature of the stories in the bible has always been ironic too me. The story of Noah's Ark was, while obviously conflated, based on an event that did happen. You have to remember that the stories in the Bible were written 100's of years after they happened which inevitably lead to distortions but the beauty is that the lessons given by these stories are relevant to all times and, with true reflection, all situations. That, after all, is why it is the "greatest story ever told" and surely has effected the entire world.

1st many conservatives are not religious
2nd if you admit the bible has been distorted then you cant know how true anything is because you dont know to what degree its been c*********d. if you want to get insights from these stories well i only can say "god bless you" but they still just myths

I didn't say they were and it is obvious that many that say they are religious are mistaken in terms of true, selfless belief. Secondly, I simply meant that the stories were written by men, albeit inspired men, and therefore, since many years passed between the telling and the writing of the stories in the form of the bible, the stories took on a parabolic nature. Get over your need to put others down and you may find the t***h one day but your h**e and anger is holding you back.

I never said the stories weren't true because, as I said, they have t***h for all if they are willing to accept it. You are not reading the stories in the proper context if that is what you are getting from them. Remember that these were all passed along by word of mouth for hundreds of years before written down yet the useful lessons remained. That is the nature of t***h if you know where to look.

Your understanding of God's relationship with us is ignoring free will. The laws that we live by are unchangable. We have the free will to either fellow the rules or not and remember, anyone's decisions have a rippling effect. That is why there are no so called " victimless crimes." Liberalism's main tenant is that it knows better then unchangable laws. That is why it will not work.

You're still leaving out context, Job's conversations with God were no different then yours. It is Job that said God allowed it not God. Job is blaming God just as every Liberal blames everyone else for everything. The point of the story is the guilt that Job feels which is understandable but it doesn't make it God's fault. All of the people writing the stories or subjects in the stories are human and expressing human feelings. You blame conservatives for your own misunderstandings and act as if that is causing you damage. Look in the mirror, it is your belief that is YOUR problem.
