The Bible says nothing about Hell being a place of cold. Quite the opposite, in fact.

14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

And they will not die.

Revelation 20:10

10And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Where is your Hell and how do you get there? Hell is a sea, but there is no fire. Fire is a symbol of holiness and on Judgment Day, it is the mechanism by which you will get to Hell. This will be by spontaneous combustion and it will affect 97% of earth's inhabitants. Isaiah 24:6 "Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left". Roughly 210 million people will survive this. Hell is not forever except in the case of Satan, but time is infinite and forever. If you find yourself in Hell, eventually your spirit will be drowned and you will cease to exist.

I notice that you haven't provided any Scripture to back that up. In any case, why should I listen to you? The vast majority of Biblical scholars disagree with you.

Only the wicked go to Hell and right now it doesn't matter what your religious beliefs are. It was made by God mainly as a deterrent to sin. It is not a furnace or oven as Jews and Christians believe, it is a sea and a black hole. It is darkness, freezing cold, hyper-gravity, and a bottomless pit. Death and Hell are permanent and your only escape from it is when your sentence for your sin is up, your spirit is snuffed out (drowned) and you cease to exist. You cannot be reincarnated and you cannot go from Hell to Heaven. Vengeance belongs to God.

Sweet dreams... but I doubt that is possible.

Jesus said it. I know He spoke in parables, sometimes, but there is nothing to indicate that He did so in this case. There is also nothing to indicate that it should not be taken as anything other than Jesus speaking of actual events. The Bible, especially the words of Christ, should be taken literally; unless there is other Scriptural context that indicates otherwise. Do you know of such Scripture?

If you think it is literal do you think his tongue was on fire? Or could it have possibly meant something else?

It says what it says. I take it literally. And you haven't shown me anything that would indicate that I shouldn't.

I gave you scripture, and I would ask the same thing of you. There are numerous scriptures in the OT that refer to Hell as a pit. I believe there is also a verse in the NT that calls Hell a "bottomless pit". It is also a sea. Isaiah 57:20-21 "But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked". The fire will be on earth and there will be 3 separate judgments. First the enemies of God on VWD Day, Psalm 37:20, Psalm 97:3. Second, all the wicked, Isaiah 24:6. And last, all remaining Christians, Zechariah 14:12.

Little ball of hate along with your caption, (I had written earlier), asking why you have that expression under your avatar, as it reflects you and didn't you know that it resonates in you and not only do we see it but so does God, what do you think he thinks about that behavior?

Someone thought that when I wrote your caption I was saying it to you, not realizing I was making a point with your own caption, they found it so offensive they complained and had my post removed. What do you also think of that?

I have already explained my avatar. It's a joke. Nothing more. As for what God thinks, He must have a sense of humor. After all, He gave us one. And the caption for my avatar is not directed at anyone. It is the miserable wet kitty saying it to whoever gave it a bath.

Ok that's pretty funny, I have a cat and she'd definitely be saying that to me, guess I've gotten use to people giving people the finger around here, all I know is someone else took it offensively and deleted the post. Se la vi

So when someone says liar liar pants on fire, you figure they should be running down the street with their ass on fire? That would be funny, wished it did happen when someone would lie, can you imagine that on a city street. or the debates we'd have two cooked candidates
