Take away the ACA and then promise to improve it further later!!! Yeah like they v**ed 100 times before.

Obamacare was like a late night infomercial. It would insure millions of uninsured at no cost to me, cut the insurance premiums of the rest of us by hundreds and thousands of dollars, cure the common cold, eliminate World Hunger, make the terrorists love us, give you more energy, make you lose 50 pounds of belly fat, make the lame walk, and cure your erectile dysfunction, or your money back. I want my damn money back.

You're right.

The loudest ones are upset because their premium and deductible went up but they don't have a clue what its all about for folks like your son.

But no worries. After awhile, the facts start to show the positive of the ACA when comparing expansion states versus non-expansion states. All the focus has been on the problems in the non-expansion states but everyone knew the outcome when those states didn't expand anyhow. So it really isn't hurting the ACA, it just hurts those in need in those non-expansion states.

The big problem with the ACA is the insurance industry ... they found all the loopholes to pad the premium's by offering services to people who don't need them... Like I need a PAP smear ... it's the insurance industry pushing back putting profits before people... health insurance is a for profit industry & that's the problem

Sorry, no CODs, no refunds and not responsible for damages incurred.
That was all done to sugar coat the fact that it is really a way to insure the uninsurable and the uninsured who don't qualify for Medicaid or Medicare and can't afford to buy it.
For the majority, there has been some benefit such as no charge for a lot of preventive medicines but no one is sending them a statement saying look how much money you saved on that...we only see the higher premium and deductible. Now, to be fair, it was going up like that before Obamacare came along anyways.

The ACA has created limited choices. Why do I need to pay for contraception? I'm 52 years old, and have had a vasectomy years ago. Do I need pap smears, mammograms, pre natal care...etc?

Does my daughter, or my wife need coverage for testicular cancer?

I agree with you,but again that has to do with the insurance company and their policies. It was suppose to create more choices, but that didn't happen for many reasons including political ones.

Nuff said is right, even Obama at the time hadn't realized how many insurance policies wouldn't meet up with the standard and people lost their plans, how many people were being s**mmed by insurance companies and didn't know it until they made a claim and got nothing. Again that had to do with the insurance company and not the ACA.

That's still true. If you like your doctor, keep going to him. No one is holding a gun to your head outlawing you from going to see this doctor you have to have. But he sure got that one wrong about keeping your plan. Never in history did an insurer ever keep the same plan from one year to another. For the past 30 years, they always changed the plan to show how much more it was going to cost next year and which doctors they wouldn't pay for (but you can still go to if you want to pay his fee on your own).

BTW, the $2,500 savings was wrong but is way too low...turns out that the average Obamacare subsidy is $276/mo or $3,312. The funny part is how so many people believed he was talking about the average family not the average Obamacare subsidized family.

You are so wrong, it's frightening. The insurance companies are all losing money on the exchanges. That is why ObamaCare, do not call it AFFORDABLE, is failing. There are no profits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where do you get your information?

I could go on, and on. The insurance companies have been screwing us for years due to government regulations brought on by lobbyists, and bought politicians.
Now, the 'average' family who are betwixt, and between are screwed.
Kinda funny how none of this hurts the people at the top, and helps people at the bottom, and screws the middle ain't it?

Another point. If all of these government programs are so damn great, why don't any of the governing class participate in them?
You know, Obamacare, public education, g***n e****y.
