He claimed over and over he would not be taken alive, refused to surrender to peace officers instead ignoring their orders and drawing his weapon. I didn't say he was a competent combatant however he obviously ignored lawful orders and went for his gun. No one was "coming for his s**t" I learned as a kid when a cop gives you direction you do as they say and ask questions later, especially if they have a gun on you and are afraid you will shoot them. He had the same thing happen to him as happens to all too many young black men in urban settings, he acted aggressively and stupidly towards the police and it cost him his life. And keep in mind a protester becomes a terrorist when they bring a gun to the protest and even begin to imply they will use it.
