It's kind of a stretch to include Egypt, Libya, and Syria since we have no uniformed troops in any of them (except for a handful of Marines at the embassies and such). Why not mention 40,000 U.S. troops in Germany, 30,000 in Japan, or 30,000 in South Korea?

Oh, that's right: you can't blame Obama for them! Yes, I know those are not "wars", but they are costly deployments just the same.

That costly deployment are there since WW-II did you complained to Truman, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr. and now blame OBAMA. Everything is very costly in U.S.A. including the dysfunctional U.S. Congress who passed the best laws money can buy only.

Of course I didn't! But to claim that Obama has gotten us into "war, war, war" is just not true! As you pointed out, the U.S. has a long, long history of intervening in other countries' business. None of what you mentioned can be called Obama's wars.

The U.S. supported all the dictators and unpopular governments around the world including Sadam Husein in IRAQ, the Sha in IRAN, Gral. Batista in Cuba, Trujillo in Dominican Republican, Somoza in Nicaragua, Gral. Nogueira in Panama, Gral. Castillo Armas in Guatemala, etc. etc. for their own benefits, and later turned against them.

Our country has an identity crisis going on that few seem inclined to deal with. We cannot seem to learn from past mistakes. We treat other countries in ways we wouldn't tolerate ourselves. We prosecute individuals for things we allow corporations and Government officials to do. We allow more laws governing personal behavior than we do those for corporations and Government entities.

We just can't seem to learn.
