You're a bad little wet pussy...Here's my answer.
Anyone, who has served in the military has taken this pledge:
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
I would say that you're offending a lot of people that have taken this oath, since the POTUS is a representative of our republic. If you take this oath, you invariably "trust" the government. Otherwise, you have no business taking it.

I took that oath. The oath is to the Constitution and the Republic. Not to politicians.
The UCMJ requires all servicemen to refuse unconstitutional orders.
The oath does not imply blind faith in any person or government as a whole.

He's not interested in any discussion.....he just wants to propagandize and see himself on the board. Time to just ignore him....even without an ignore button.

What if the POTUS was an honorable man when you took the oath, but his predecessor was not so honorable. In fact, was the exact opposite of honorable. Then do you follow your conscience or do you obey anyway? Got a lot of Germans in trouble quite a few decades ago.

"Do you trust our government? Let's see how many i***ts answer in the affirmative." I didn't say: "politicians", I said "Republic" and so does the oath, what part of that did not emphasize: enough for you to understand?
If the Government, fails to follow the constitution, the military is required to act. Technically, if the Government violated the Constitution, even if the "government" does something stupid without violating the constitution, your actions are blind faith. Who determines the constitutionality of the acts of government?

It was the only way I could respond, he's blocked me. I'm a dick, I must admit. This is fun.

The oath does not include a provision for having a conscience. The constitution does not include a provision for having a conscience. Who decides what is honorable, that isn't a legal construct. Where does the UCMJ or the Constitution decide "honor" or define it?
Germans got themselves in trouble by not having these conditional arguments. Democracy is tough, isn't it?

You are neither Dummy nor boy.😃
Fighting for America, and all it entails is a bit more complicated than people realize.
In my previous posts,as I repeat myself too often ,remember Greece, and how her States, came together.
America's future is wide open.
Nothing (except ourselves) ,and no Country can hold the U.S. back.
There are opportunities crying out to be seized.
So many people with many good ideas will overcome this political insanity.
If we can't figure it out, well, nature will do
it for us.
Tomorrow is a product of our actions and our dreams.
No matter What our species does , time
genetics ,and this universe unfold before us.
We can either brave the wheel ,man the rudder,or just go along for the ride.

Not necessarily Democracy without a conscience. It doesn't preclude free thought.

So what's the h**eful one up to now? Does he think those in the military are suppose to forget their oaths and rise up against their country?

Girls just want to have fun. Apparently the same applies to dicks.

The oath is not about blind allegiance to unconstitutional acts.
If you'd taken the oath you'd know that.
