Shaving the privates in the hospital

My dad used to say that no matter how much one has when he goes into a hospital he comes out with a lot less. I really remember the shaves they gave me when they had to remove hair that was in the way for surgery. My first one was a heart ablation and they ran wires up both groins so I got a heavy shave for that one. Next they did a heart cath and again up the groin with the wire but only one side then. Then for the by pass they just shaved all the hair from the front of my body. Not so bad but when it starts growing back it is pretty uncomfortable.

Anyway here is a little clip of Archie Bunker getting shaved by a female doctor and all the trouble he had. I had forgotten this one and really got a kick out of it especially since I remembered what they did to me. For the first two procedures they used safety razors and the last one they used an electric shaver. Not so scary either.

That was cute. I also enjoyed the grandma dancing to the oldies walking down the outside steps to the car.

I really like the old woman dancing to those oldies, too.

Too funny. I recall this from many, many years ago.

Are you referring to a portion of a man's anatomy? If so, it would appear so, but only in a t***sitional, perhaps capricious, manner.

It seems I was only thinking in a one track area. Forgive me. I plead ignorant due to advanced age.

Have you tried turning out the lights, turning off the iPad/computer, closing your eyes and breathing deeply? If so let me know because it doesn't work for me.

Nor does it work for me. Alex and I had had communique about Melatonin. I took 4mg last night and it did NOTHING. I will admit I consumed a 16oz. soda at 12:30 PM. As soon as I start breathing deeply, I start making a list of what needs to be accomplished.

I take Remeron (Mirtazapine) but it is by prescription only. Works for me. Many people are averse to taking sleeping meds, but I am unable to sleep without them. Have been utilizing it since the good Dr. left me.

Interestingly enough, I am thirteen inches shorter then my spouse and substantially lighter in weight; however, my metabolism is totally med resistant and usually I come close to taking the same dosage in OTC meds and the very rare occasion I may need other meds.

Obviously, I do not need to do the commentary of assistance to sleep since the "good Dr. left you". It is my understanding it is customary for individuals losing their long term "mate". I truly mean the word "mate" in the deepest and truest sense of that feeling. Okay, I will shut up now.

Having two cats as bed mates isn't quite the same as cuddling with ones spouse. They are quite loving but it's somewhat different. They don't cuddle.

I am sitting here blinking my eyes a lot to stay awake and hoping I never get where you people are in that I have no trouble going to sleep when the hands of old fashioned clocks both get to 12 and beyond. I just put on my CPAP paraphernalia, get under my covers, say a prayer, and start counting the hours of a clock and repeat it if I get clear to 12. Usually I never count past the number more than twice. I am hoping that God remains on my side at night.
