I totally agree. 👍

And congratulations, sounds like you did a fantastic job. 👍

I have 3 children. 22, 6, and 4. I was a single father to my oldest since she was three years old, she's finishing up college, has a great job that she loves, and has her own apartment, a very independent young woman, I couldn't be more proud of her. I worried a lot while she was growing up, not just about her, but about myself and whether or not I was making the right decisions for us. I made some mistakes but all in all, we did okay. Glad I have a fantastic mom for my two little ones, it's nice to have some help.

Hope you had a great Father's Day, Floyd. I'm off to take my youngest to the park. 👍👍👍😁😁
I totally agree. 👍 br br And congratulations, so... (show quote)

I think that the difference in our ages makes a big difference in the bottom line in how we look at things.

When my children were small things on the street were safer. At any time when my children where out & about I never felt they were really in any real danger.
Now looking back on things & the views expressed about their living choices shows that I may have missed out on some things. I was lucky that what happen made them more aware of what really was happening. In hindsight it may well have made them better to cope with things. (That is real even if a bit sad.) I won't take credit but my time was filled with finding a way to keep the wolfs from the door. For the long term looking at it all they have grown up to be quite in control of their life's.( They are credit to life.)

The threat of danger is much more serious & likely now & at you age you would be right to worry more..

Lets hope that things can improve to the point of just concern & not escalate to fear.

What is needed is hoping all can live safely & securely. For it is the safety & secureness of all of Us that affects all of Us. For it is those that lack secureness become a threat to our safety.

For me the American dream was always with in reach. Now the Dream for many is out of reach. If we can not see that the Dream for all can be with in reach We as a Nation will have failed.

That is what most want. Just a fair chance.

The thing that gets me is how all of Us have the same hopes & dreams & how there are some who keep setting up road blocks.

For it is how we function with each other is what has the means of making life good.

On the list of good things to do is to go to a park with a child & just roll down a hill. See the birds, smell a flower, look at the clouds & have ice cream. Yes an so may other things.

Now I look to being with grand kids for those things.

Thank you! But you started it. Brought all of those memories. Thank you again.

Just keep making those memories with your family. It will make all you have to go through in life seem as a joy.

I take great pleasure in knowing that the World is a better place with you in it.

I couldn't agree more with you about what you said in regards to our age difference, and how that surely factors in.

I will most definitely follow your advice, and live for those moments that make great memories.

Thank you very much for the kind words, Floyd. You left me stammering on how to reply here, it's an honor to have made your acquaintance.

There are many out there much like Us We just need to find ways to connect with them.

We just need to chat with each other. Many of the areas of contention will fade away.
