Protecting children is what some call extreme.

Your same ol' crappy arguments are boring and insulting.
Consider yourself deleted.

There is no argument. It is a news article, perhaps too complicated for really stupid people.

Yes, thanks. I did see that.
Thank goodness one elected Republican in that state has a brain.
LOL, more than one, of course. The statement quoted in my initial story was from a Republican so there are a few.

So get her pregnant if you want her to have an abortion. You're sick!

You need to go back and read what jelun wrote again. Read slowly, now!
You have it totally backwards.

"Don't want your partner to have an abortion, don't get her pregnant. "
Maybe I should reword it...
Want your partner to have an abortion, get her pregnant."

Still sick!

The Oklahoma governor knew that bill was badly written and this veto is just a bit of heel-dragging to buy some time. It was poorly worded and would not hold up in court. She knew that, and realized the bigger fight will happen later when someone tries another stronger case before the SC. Before that happens, a lot of other stuff needs to happen. There is a bigger plan afoot, and this bill is not part of it.

Just my opinion. Stay tuned.

Another way to look at it may be that as well as being a Republican the gov is a woman. Here's hoping that informed her decision. I haven't held on to much OK info so I can't support that hope at all. Maybe she is just a true fiscal conservative and doesn't want to throw all that money away fighting for a losing law.
States have a decent amount of leeway in their regulation of abortion, creating a situation in which women don't have access at all is definitely not going to pass SCOTUS.
Texas is going to be great to watch.

What you fail to realize if you would have understood jeloon's post is that I was being sarcastic.
