Now that is a bad-assed round. I would like a box of them, for starters.

They have come down some in price. When they were first introduced last year, the average cost was around $50 for a box of 20. I carry a .40cal S&W and will stick with my Winchester Ranger T's.

Those rounds (bullets) are outlawed (for OUR MILITARY) the Geneva Convention outlawed expanding bullets.

Technically, they are not expanding bullets. They are designed to penetrate, then fragment.

There are various rounds already on the market that do the same fragmentation, but not on the scale of this round. Another point is that these fragmentation rounds do not penetrate completely through the body and consequently reduce the incidence of collateral damage caused by striking an innocent in the line of fire behind the tsrget.

Not so sure about that. In the video, I noticed a few fragments escape the ballistics gel. I would say that it does reduce the chance, but I don't think there is any way to eliminate it. Too bad we don't have a "STOP THAT!" gun. If you don't know what it is, you can Google it.

I suppose an errant fragment could get loose but compared to a regular round, a fragmentary greatly reduces the chance of it happening.

And who are they, to tell us how to wage war? I say screw 'em. If it gives us an edge, I say use it. I mean, it's not like were using chemical weapons. And while I'm at it, screw the UN too. Bunch of useless asswipes.

Isn't it funny, that they ban something like this, yet allow us to use 500 lb. bombs to blow things up?

That round would definitely be a 'clean k**l'. And, I am all for the military using it. Why do you differentiate between the military and the police using it?
