We've all experienced this, unless you've lived your entire life eating bread and water. And depending on what kind of bread you've had, you still might have experienced it.

Question. Name one food you wish tasted as good as it smelled.

I can only think of one, off hand. Italian bread. It smells so wonderful, but when you eat it, it doesn't even taste half as good as it smells. If it did, I would have already died from obesity related complications.

I think it does. So does sourdough.
In Mexico on vacation, I kept smelling the best aroma. After walking the wandering streets of an ancient city that I can not pronounce, much less spell, I ran across the food. It was the milk ducks of a cow being grilled on a Hibachi. I did not try it because it could not possibly have tasted as good as it smelled.

I ate brains and eggs many times as a child. It was good.
I can't have it now because my wife refuses to allow me to cross our threshold with a brain! :hunf:

They have a taste similar to chicken gizzards. Also frog legs are really good but not much meat on each leg.

Poppa
as an honorary Texan
you must eat at least a half dozen mountain oysters
I recommend you visit a ranch while the are castrating the calves into steers.
they will roast them over an open fire for you
cmon Poppa --be a real Texan
