I spent more time testing my personal website before launching it.

I think a big part of his problem is he wants to BREAK the private sector, not make business for them. It was doomed from the outset. And nobody will take the blame.

Anyone who works in in kind of business product development understands the concept of Verification and Validation.
But, that is what happens when the gov't is run by lawyers and not businessmen.

Faith, I believe you are correct in you conclusion. If the system falls flat he can then be our savior by socializing medicine.

This is real simple, if it leaked out that the website was flawed, it never would have been allowed to launch. It was going to launch no matter what, flaws and all to meet the implementation mark. They all knew, they hid it until it was too late. I tested my website(s) for three months before actually launching them onto the web. I did not have a billion dollars to do it with. I average over a thousand hits per day on just one of my sites and it has not crashed once. I built these sites myself, manage them myself with a very modest amount of money involved. This is the US government, they have access to the absolute skim that sits on top of the cream of the crop when it comes to technology. The whole "we did not know", come on, any one who has common sense can see through this crap.

I hear my mother's attitude in this, I can do that. Don't get me wrong, 2nd in her class HS, 2nd in her class college, type 138 WPM but for her to use a computer, not happening and finally put her on web tv. Lot's of brains but little common sense.

I know Faith is right of course there's always the other side, they never wanted this to work so they go to single payer now in case they lose the Senate.

Agreed, The major issue is 10K pages of regulations that are factored into the behaviours in the development. This is a very complex website.
Did you know it was a Canadian company that won the no bid contract and we paid $550 million. Not our brightest and best.

The one part of this website that seems to be 100% accessible with no flaws is the r******r to v**e application. Imagine that.

Canada fired CGI Sept 2012. Obama has dumped 1.4 billion into the company. HHS 645 million, DOD 254 million, EPA 58 million and DOJ 36 million. Guess there were no contrators in the US.

Is that before you register for ObamaCare or after?

It simply amazes me that they don't have any numbers, it's so easy to keep track how many have been there.

How come nobody is questioning anything about who gets access to this data? People are so willing to hit a website and plug in all their personal info without ever asking this simple question.

https://www.healthcare.gov/privacy/
This privacy statement says nothing about the actual Personal information that is entered registering and applying...other to say there are third part sites involved.
It does send you to another "individual privacy statement"
https://www.healthcare.gov/individual-privacy-act-statement/
Nothing there gives me any assurance of privacy, just their rights to collect the data. then send you to a FAQ
https://www.healthcare.gov/how-we-use-your-data/
Here you will find...
"•To maintain Marketplace operation, CMS works with the following groups and may therefore share your information with:
•Contractors that perform functions for the Marketplace to accomplish the specific functions they’re engaged to perform.
•Other federal, state, or local government agencies to combat fraud, waste, and abuse and to respond to concerns about the security or confidentiality of information.
•Insurance companies that issue Marketplace plans and also the IRS, for the ongoing administration of advanced payment of premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions, if applicable to you.
•Issuers of qualified health plans and states, if you complain to us about a qualified health plan or an issuer, to notify the issuers and state about the complaints."

Contractors - do they go through background checks? (the ACA Navigators don't). Other Federal, State and Local Gov't's? Oh, that sounds reassuring doesn't it.

I've spend over an hour looking through this, and I do not have any warm fuzzies about it.

There is ZERO privacy, a statement buried that you can't print. The people are suppose to help receive no training and so far a handful have records. To me, anyone who would go there and just hand all the information to them is out of their mind.
