Well, you might want to find out if your monkeys have their own leadership pacs and how they use them.

I don't give money to monkeys because I really don't have monkeys.

I have gotten by so far no matter who was running the country.

Most of my life is behind me & I stand a fair chance of leaving this world with a bit left behind.

Some how I feel that there is just a bunch of older people here with extra time on their hands.

We are leaving & we wish to impart our wisdom on those we leave behind.

Some how seeing as how we can't agree on much of any thing here we are wasting our breath so to speak.

But who knows here & there some one says something that has a bit of wisdom.

I have looked at these videos and find them very disturbing. How in the world are we ever going to get back to taking care of the country's business with all this corruption and cronyism?

There is no way these politicians are ever going to curve back their get rich quick schemes. I think there has to be some sort of revolution or something. I'm not sure how constitutional amendments are actually initially generated. If it has to come from the Federal Government then it will NEVER happen. However, if it can be started by a citizen or a State government, then maybe there is hope to end all this B.S., otherwise, it will continue and we will never survive. I think we are in dire straights and failure is imminent.

Why isn't Obama in jail for raising money through foreign donors, which is clearly illegal and we know for a fact that that happened. Why isn't Eric Holder in jail for his conflict of interest which is clearly illegal. I was hopeful that at least some of the politicians were honest but apparently not even one of them are if they don't bring this to the public's attention and start an investigation.

I agree completely that all Congressmen should be replace. There is a very old, old, old saying: "Power corrupts and total power corrupts totally". These Congressmen have been in power for too many years. Most don't even worry about ree******n because the majority of the population does not v**e. We can only blame the ones that don't v**e, so get out there and tell everyone to v**e. And when they do v**e, do not v**e for the ones in power now, get some new blood in Congress and maybe we will finally get things going in the right direction.

Don't feel bad about not knowing how amendments to the Constitution of the US are proposed and then passed. You are in a high majority of our people in that wonderment. I wonder if high schools even teach that part of the Constitution any more or if they even teach about the Constitution. I say this as a man who taught about it for all Jrs and Srs once each year. I think most of the boys got it and most of the girls didn't give a damn. When girls failed to know about it as seniors I told them I was sorry I took them down to r******r to v**e and implored them not to do so.

I did some reading on your site and am still wondering how many people who agree with those there know what happened the only other time a convention like they suggest was called. Since I know I have to be against this movement. I am a strict constructionist as far as the Constitution is concerned.

I know it has happened before, The Civil War, I think? this would be to only propose the amendments. I think this got started by Mark Levin. I think he is a constitutional Lawyer and worked for Reagan.

Okay your monkeys are the good monkeys because they take money from you & do the things that are good for you. But my monkeys take my money but I don't have as much money to give so my monkeys take my money & don't do any thing for me.

Or just reverse every thing if you would. Or face the t***h that they take all the money they can get form any body & take care of them self.

I wonder where you get the idea that I am richer in peanuts than you. If I were, my monkeys would be much fatter.

Anyway neither of us will let the other guy's monkeys have free rein. That is why we both will not stop supporting our own chattering troups.

Think of it, our apes do not inspire us to support them. It's when your tree dwellers do something to frost me that I open my change purse to stop them, or my knuckle d**ggers anger you so that you roll out that bill fold.

Well this pretty much says it all! Politicians & diapers need to be changed often for the same reason.

I got this thing about monkeys in an e-mail today and thought it would be good to share with the members of this forum. It tells us why we need to replace all of them in order to save us from them.

It is time, rather, to change this corrupt system, as Teddy Roosevelt warned and tried. He saw Congress as the biggest growing threat to our Republic. If we can stop bickering amongst we the people as dictated or manipulated by vested representatives, we can get united to do the only thing to save our country: change the rules of Congress!

I had seen this before and it is cute and probably true. All monkeys need to be replaced but not necessarily at the same time. We seriously need to have term limits. The biggest problem with the government is the professional politician. We need to have very serious term limits on all our Federal Government political offices and Judicial appointments. As well as a few rule changes of who can hold the Executive office.

First terms need to be limited to two, regardless of the length, the very fact that it is limited should be enough to stop some of the corruption. All political contributions given to politicians should be taxable as a "gift" ie very high tax. It should also not be deductible for the "gifter" and any money raised on behalf of a political candidate should be taxable as a gift to the recipient of the gift.

Politicians should only be allowed to hold one office EVER. Once the term limit has been hit, then they can't hold another Federal Office EVER. Also, in holding with the previous statement , that would include the President. No congressman should be allowed to run for President. The President should come from the States and probably limited to Governors or Mayors which have experience of Governing at the Executive level or from the private sector. The term for President should be limited to ONE either 4 or 6 year term.
These limits wouldn't solve all our problems, but I think it would go a very long way to getting it done.

Also, the founding fathers got it completely wrong with the Supreme Court. It should be a limited single term of no more that 5 years. The lifetime appointment was just a bad idea, I wonder what they were smoking when they came up with that one?
I had seen this before and it is cute and probably... (show quote)

the only way they can become career politicans is if you keep reelecting them

Obama has not been impeached because he is black. All the politicians are deadly afraid that if they are involved in the impeachment process then they will not be reelected. I wish they would take the words, black, yellow, red, all the slang words for American Citizens out of the Constitution. It makes them all minorities which means they are less then all the rest. This is not true. We are a nation made up of all types of people from white to black and everything between. When are the people going to realize that they are all equal. There is no difference. If I study and go to college, get a paper that says I can be an attorney then I can run for office. Wrong I can legally run for office just being myself. Anyone no matter their race, as long as they are citizens of the USA can do the same. GET RID OF THE WORD MINORITY in every area of the Government.
