Not only that, but consider what happened (or rather, what didn't happen) at Trump's rally here in Phoenix, Arizona...all those constitutional open carry, no permit needed conceal carry (violent, evil Republican) gun lovers who were pissed off at the roads being blocked, and not a single person was shot. Let's see if they can explain that one.

Im not a criminologist but I can safely say that guns are being taken off the street in an unprecedented way. Some people, unfortunately, are turning to a different weapon, de Blasio says.
New Yorkers have been on edge because of a series of highly-reported attacks, including several seemingly random attacks on the subways. The city was averaging more than 10 stabbing attacks a day in the first six weeks of the year.

Already since January, more than 100 people have been murdered in the city double the number of homicides in Chicago during the first two months last year. The number of shooting incidents is also up by 120 percent compared to the first nine weeks of 2015.
