Non-believers don't fear that believers are right, but truly, believers fear that they themselves might be wrong!!

If you could grasp the concept of LOGIC, you might KNOW that believers have no reason in the world to fear they may be wrong. If they are wrong, they will cease to exist upon death. If non-believers are wrong, they will burn in hell or WORSE. So, who SHOULD be fearing?

That pretty much covers the human race.

Actually, that is sort of a good point, if indeed there would be a hell created by a creator. That is one thing I doubt very seriously, that a being with the ability to create life would create a place where some of his creation would suffer eternally.

There can never be a bridge between believers and those who are afraid the believers just MAY be right. I think it unwise to divide the groups into believers vs "atheists", though, because not all atheists despise believers, only those who are afraid of believers h**e them. Those who are trying to eliminate believers will NEVER do anything to make a bridge because the LAST THING THEY WANT IS A BRIDGE.......WHAT WAS ONCE THE BRIDGE WAS JOKINGLY CALLED "COMPROMISE" WHEREBY THE BELIEVER GAVE IN ON EVERY ISSUE. Compromise is NOT GIVING IN. Compromise is "I'll give in on this issue, YOU give in on that issue", but what the republicans have been doing for decades is GIVING THE LEFT WHAT IT WANTS WHILE RECEIVING NOTHING IN RETURN - AND THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY IN A NUTSHELL.

Fear is a powerful emotion. Indeed it is, makes reasonable thoughts take flight for lands unknown when "maybe" sitting tight might be a more sane choice. I don't see Artemis as calling for compromise, but for a way to see those who feel differently in a different light. Yes, compromise seems to be an ugly word these days. You might be quite right about those nonbelievers who fear also h**e. However, leaving an opening, a place to perch, if just for a place to safely exchange/acknowledge the differences....can it hurt?

I was looking at it objectively, not my personal opinions, and beliefs. The " I don't know crowd is probably the human race.

It can only hurt when others' determination to dominate remove rights of others and/or when they destroy the nation.

Do you think all who are not "ignorant about Christianity" would automatically agree with you? Are you sincere and honest when you say, " Hope you enjoy Hell"? is it possible for a Christian to be a h**eful and dishonest? Are you h**eful and dishonest?

Absolutely NOT! I do, however, think ignorance abounds when people make declarations about Christianity and Christians that simply are NOT true. How about you? Guess no one reads my frequent comment (the most recent time being on THIS thread)that I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN, not proud of that, but t***h IS t***h, no matter how some people simply cannot grasp that silly concept.

I asked you some specific questions which you artfully dodged. Do you think it is dishonest to ignore questions when they threaten to make you think? I think you are well able to protect yourself from thinking, so take some risks and answer my questions as well as your present fears, terrors, and insecurities allow you to.
