Wal MArt closed mostly smaller units that did not earn enough to make the share holders happy. Being layed off in the middle of the winter sucks so I feel for the 10000 workers. That said I can't stand my local Wal Mart. 30 check stands with five checkers. Nothing in clothing that fits me. Un stocked grocery items that smaller stores always have. Hours long waits for prescriptions. I get my eyeglasses there. They do a good job there. I avoid Wal mart as much as I can. The IGA or Kroegers have my approval

Say son you need to google the info on this. Wal Mart closed small under preforming stores. not all of them in the United States Obama does not run Wal Mart. This is an example of pleasing the share holders. Did you know that at this moment more brand new Wal marts are being built.

I am sure that those Walmart employees who were priced out of a job by Obama will be happy to know that even though they no longer have a job, people in other communities will get new jobs, even though they will not.

Wal mart has had a habit of going into small towns then destroying all competitors. When the small town does not provide enough revenue they close the store and then the people have no where to shop. They have been sued for this and some places will not allow them in. Wal mart is not hurting they are mercenary. Get it.

If the price of any commodity goes up it depresses demand and eventually the price. The way to raise wages is not to artificially raise the price of labor the way Barry Obama and Bernie Sanders advocate. Heads of households should not be supporting families working at Walmart.

But they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because the redistributive policies of Scumocrats depress the economy. The high wage jobs of my young adulthood are few and far between. Corporations take the risk of creating new businesses and high paying jobs because there is profit in it for them.

Under Morons like Barry and Bernie, if they take the risk and put out big bucks and by some miracle are successful, the guvment demonizes them and takes their money and gives it to the OWS brown shirt mob.

The way you raise the wages of wage s***es supporting their families at Walmart is not to go after Walmart. The way you do it is to encourage high wage industries, let them make money, and leave them the hell alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The young adults will then have good options other than Walmart. The best will leave for higher pay elsewhere. Walmart will have to raise the pay of starter and semiretired employees to keep them.
