Originally, I was a Trump supporter, but now I am very skeptical. After doing a lot of research I have changed my mind. I just don't see how a person can become a "conservative" overnight, when he has no track record of ever supporting conservative causes. Up until about a year and a half to two years ago, he has supported;

A******n, including partial birth a******n
Adultery and open marriage
Praised Obama for passing Obamacare and the Stimulus Pkg
Singlepayer healthcare
Praised Hillary as SoS, and is good friends of Bill & Hillary
Donated to Hillary's 2008 campaign
Has changed parties five times
Amnesty
The government taking property under eminent domain
Crony capitalism (ethanol subsidies, and big oil subsidies)

I believe he is just an entertainer, and knows how to control and play the media. I think if he is our nominee, that he will either lose to the Democrat nominee (which I still think will be Biden), or if he does get elected, he will rule as a Democrat...and, not live up to all his campaign rhetoric. JMHO

Now, the question. Why do you support him? I am genuinely interested in why you Trump supporters REALLY support him. Thank you.

All this talk about Donald Trump's lack of conservatism is becoming very annoying to me. The lack of true conservatism is what got him into the race. The Rhino's controlling the Republican party & smooching with the DAmocrats is why Trump got into the run for president on his own dime & not beholding to the elite or anyone...I think he is truly the only one to get America out of the mess Obama, the DAmocrats & Rhino's have gotten us in. Let me get my 2 cents in. I like what Donald Trump says because if I were running for office that is what I would say. And if he gets the nomination, I'll probably v**e for him. The down side for me re Trump is that I view his personality as that of a dictator, possibly a good dictator, but the current dictator leaves a bad taste in my mouth re dictators and I don't want one of any sort again. I like that he is tough. I dislike that he is determined to have his own way even if good people get hurt for it. Is he strong? Yes, I believe he is. Could he corral the wimps in Congress? Yes, he probably could. Is that good or bad? It could be both good and bad. It could be bad for us citizens who must live under government's thumb.......it all depends on what the toughness brings. Is he a strong Constitution man? I'm not sure, but sorta doubt it. I am big on individual RIGHTS enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Obama isn't big on them, and I am not so sure Trump is either. I KNOW Cruz is, and that is why I will probably v**e for him in the primaries.

For the present time, he is asking the correct questions and saying things that others won't. Like you, I have my doubts about Trump, but after the 2012 e******ns, there isn't a single politician that I trust, or would support with my money.

Neither party has any candidate, for any national office, that wouldn't sell his/her soul to the devil for political gain!

Trump is the only one saying what I want to hear. No more i******s, deport the i******s that are here now, fairer taxes, deadbeats off welfare rolls, cut funds to Dept. Education and EPA, make SS optional, etc. Lots of good ideas, .... but he could just be lying, like all of the others.

I think a LOT of us think as you do. We like what we are hearing.........but.........find me a politician who can be trusted, and I'll turn your well water into wine. I no longer donate to any political party. I DO donate to those who work at trying to find the t***h, such as Judicial Watch. I wish I had more to donate to them.......that group works at keeping the US Constitution - as written, not necessarily as "interpreted".

The worrisome part for me is that we conservatives will be divided in the primaries, and some are so angry I fear many will stay home for the P**********l e******n. THAT could put a sociopath in office again.......and we've had enough sociopaths for a lifetime.

A question for those of you that do not support Trump! Just who in the hell do you think is actually going to do SQUAT for YOU as an American?

Trump took it upon himself to desire to stand up and walk from his business billionaire daily life, to tackle the problems of what is wrong in the USA. There is no damned secret behind closed doors crud ongoing with the Clintons, (whom he at one time did hobb knob with them), and yes, he has given financial donations to almost each and every single person in politics that has asked him for a hand out. So damned what?!? It was HIS choice and HIS money. Who in office now, regardless of what side of the political fence, just doles out money to others as Trump has done? He has given money to many people that needed financial help (POOR BROKE DOWN average John and Jane Doe) that needed help.

Now ask YOURSELF this....when in the hell have you EVER seen anyone else give to charities and total strangers out of their own pockets that is currently a POLITICIAN?

Not hard for me to understand what Trump is all about. He is an American that see what the hell has happened to the USA and is going to do all he can to fix what is screwed up by the damned liberals!

Do not think for one minute you will ever see Trump having coffee with the Clintons again, either. Trump woke up about the douche bag Clintons and I seriously think he damned sure will see Hillary prosecuted for her crimes if he is elected.

You can find old You Tube garbage all day long about what Trump at one time felt about the democrats and leadership. So what? At one time I h**ed Spinach...but love it today. At one time I h**ed Orange juice, but enjoy it now. Trump has taken a close look at this Nation and has pointed out what and who is to blame for the BS and has been detailed enough to know what direction he needs to take things to "get ur done"....you don't like Trump then v**e for Hillary or someone else. Trump will have MY v**e and from the travels I have personally done in the past few months, the overall public speaking from one person to another in conversations, they also want Trump as the next President of the United States. In fact the White House is so afraid of this, Obama himself had some press conference and has stated the next President will be a DEMOCRAT (i.e. Hillary) so that all the democrats should not be worried about it. Think....Obama is making this statement why? FEAR! Media hype that he is looking for.

The media puts out Apples are the least favorite food...guess what happens? No one buys apples. That is what Obama and the Democrats do...the have the media state garbage in hopes the public will "buy" what they say..and all this Politically Correct crud.

Yep...I will v**e for Trump, in my book he is the real deal and not some schelp like the others running....and no...I have nothing really bad to say about Ted Cruz...but he is NO Trump. Not even in the same league. Trump is 10 times more "smart" then what people think he is.

So now, v**e for whom you think is gonna do the right job the right way....live with your v**e, too! I did not v**e for the slime bag in office now, so I am able to have a clear conscience about knowing I did not support that pile of dung.

And it is starting to look like conservatives will once again be divided in the P**********l e******n and will lose unless a few democrats decide to once again live in a civilized society. Last e******n I v**ed my philosophy for living, for the candidate who most suited MY beliefs re personal liberty. Republicans called me names and called me stupid for v****g for my principles. Accused me of getting Obama elected, which of course is ridiculous. The fact is that the RNC and the DNC got Obama elected. NEWS FLASH: if all of us v**ed for our principles, we wouldn't have all the corruption in our politics that we have. Major problem is that too many Americans haven't a clue what they are v****g for. [b]IF the two major parties were honest and put up honest people for office and stuck to THEIR principles, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now., and we could once again be cohesive.
