I disagree with your assessment that we would have Hitler all over Europe. Had I said we should not fight, I could understand your criticism,but I never said not FIGHT. I said
"What we cannot do is lower our standards and still feel good about ourselves" meaning that we SHOULD NOT do things the way the left does them. I happen to believe the way we do most wars is completely dumb and a horrible waste of good American lives. I believe in as little loss of life as possible while still winning, and there are ways to accomplish this without k*****g everyone. GOVERNments will never do it my way, but that's our real problem, isn't it?

If you want to win, you cannot conduct a war the way you conduct a peace. It is a sad matter that innocents die in war but wringing our hands over collateral damage, no matter how loathsome, signals a losing attitude. We only win by walking on the dark side. The only significant difference between enemies in war is why we fight, not how we fight.

If we fight this brutal enemy (Radical Islamic Terrorists), we must be total in our commitment to defeat them. Innocents will be k**led, that is the Nature of War. And even thou our enemy uses civilians as shields, we must not be deterred. We must strike, yet do so as to limit the Collateral Damage. Precise pinpoint attacks rather than Carpet Bombing which we did in WWII and Viet Nam.

Our Fighting Men and Women must not have their hands tied with Politically Correct Rules of Engagement.

War is Messy and we are fighting an enemy that has no value on human life. They can not be reasoned with, they must be k**led.

Maybe if the strong, young men of Syria understand this, they would fight for their Loved Ones and Country rather than fleeing like rats deserting a sinking ship... They should be doing the fighting on the ground.
