Thank You Tradition~` I didn't mean to imply it was recently, although many a day, when things get crazy on you, it seems like yesterday..It was 5 yrs ago..You just never lose that love, or what was, but you get through it..So young he was, 46 yrs old then...
Anyway, I am a good example for you to "know" in time there is healing and life after it all..Albeit a new life that you will have to weather through but you can and will..You have a lot of love and abundancy galore, I can sense it, so you will be just fine..
One suggestion, don't deny the feelings, feel them to their core, and love them as you loved him..You will feel his in return..I promise..
Remember~~Things done in love, bring more love~~~

Thanks Linda. You are certainly a compassionate soul. My honey did not pass that recently either - it was three years ago - but it feels like yesterday. We were married as many years as your husband lived on this earth - (really, EXACTLY as many!) but it still wasn't enough. When it comes to him, I guess I'm kind of selfish.
Though I really love music (ballads really get to me) I seem to be so drawn to them. Lots of female country singers have songs that are especially touching. I don't want to name them for fear of their hurting you. I just bring it up merely to agree with your assessment that nowadays country songs are not as "twangy" as the original country genre (mostly, I believe, due to the use of the electric "slide" guitar).
As I am an alto, the vocal range of female country songs is much more comfortable for me. I do most of my singing from my Karaoke machine in the vocal booth I have in my home. However, as I mentioned previously, it's still hard for me to get through a song without remembering the memories connected to it. But I respect your advice and so I will continue trying until I eventually succeed.
Thanks again, Linda. You really are a "Joy" .... (wink)

Some of the stuff that is classified as music nowadays is just noise to me. At least country should still be around, I hope. :hunf:
