Congress has made 14 changes to the ACA and sent them to the Presidents desk to be signed, and they were, Anything to say about that?
That does not change the seventeen that were not, all of them to Obama's political allies. That was the criteria, not any sort of need or legal basis.

ACA is the Law of the Land...there are proper avenues to change in Laws. When Congress is Shut Down nothing is accomplished. Why are we still Shut Down? because the Speaker of House isn't allowing a V**e.

The shutdown is because the Senate Majority Leader won't allow a v**e.

The House of Representatives said, "ACA needs to be stopped", so they shut down the House ...now they say "we aren't the ones who shut down the Government". The Shut Down starring Ted Cruz with a cast of Tea Potties is playing is at your local theater...but the ticket price is very high.

The House is alive, well and operating. The Democrat controlled Senate (of which Ted Cruz is a member), is the problem. It's curious that you should harp on Ted Cruz, who is a member of the minority party, like he has some sort of special powers or something. Ted Cruz, in reality, has very little influence in the House you claim is shut down. He doesn't have THAT much in the Senate. You actually have nothing to back up your belief that Cruz is somehow a key player, except a nodding acquaintance with the actual facts.

DeeDee-wrong again. The House asked for two things:1.Delay the employee mandate for one year. Reason: the employer(big corporations) mandate was delayed for one year. 2. Treat everyone fairly-do not exempt congress or the administration personnel from participating in the ACA. Harry Reid refused to take up the bill in the Senate. The House passed Continuing Resolutions to fund all parts of government individually except for ACA. Harry Reid has those sitting on his desk and will not take them up in the Senate. The republicans in the House said,"lets have a conversation about reducing spending as part of the debt ceiling increase. Harry Reid said no and Obama said I'M not negotiating. So then the 53 democrats in the senate and the president want to control the entire government and to heck with the 435 members of the house and the 45 republicans in the senate. Those people have been elected as well and their constituents want them to rein in the uncontrolled spending by this administration. Now most people who are on the receiving end of government largesse want it to continue uninhibited. However, those of us who are paying the bill want it to stop. Your stance will determine whether you are a taker or a giver. Good Luck America!!!

Ever consider a shadow government exists pulling the strings placing their choice into power controlling the process. A group of bankers reportedly met with Adolph Hitler before his rise to power in Germany. Evidently this group of bankers controlled the events leading to the eventual rise of Hitler in Germany. It is said that a group of bankers created the Federal Reserve System along with the IRS in America. Also this group of bankers created C*******m, F*****m, Socialism, and controled Islam. World history seems to validate this being true.

I don't buy into the conspiracy stuff, New World Order, The Illuminati or that the Bilderberg Group is controlling everything.

If it's the law of the land why has Little POS Barry granted exemptions for selected unions etc? How is it he can just grant Big Business a one year delay?

Besides, the Govt. is only partially shut down, something like 17%.

One question to the naysayers of ACA ...why not sit back and wait? Our system of health care is deeply flawed, it seems odd that one could be opposed to something that can help millions of people. It seems clear, to me, the Repugs are possessed by a compulsion to end ACA and don't mind shutting down our country to prove their misguided actions.
