Don't you dare to try to shut down that memorial, again.

As the 67 year young, former Marine son of one of those now 88 year old "kids" who fought against the Axis powers in WWII, I'm with you. We should not allow this administration to further dishonor our country's Greatest Generation. Had it not been for them we would likely be speaking German or Japanese, and we certainly would not be enjoying such freedoms as we have left.

What unmitigated gall...

This is what we get for allowing a non-citizen to become president of the United States who is a control freak.

The really worrisome thing is the number of people who v**ed for the community organizer (some of them several times in each e******n).

I could never understand how a nobody get by Clinton unless they had something really dirty on Clinton. I'll be the first to admit he said that people wanted to hear and the media fell in love. He had no record to speak of yet ...

Now they shoot down a woman, apparently a dental hygienist, in a car with a baby in the back seat! Protecting themselves with barriers and overzealous frightened law enforcement. A republican president would be impeached.

I do have a problem with this shooting. Four grown men with guns drawn and no one thinks to shot a tire or two out. Guess it must be easier to take a life!

Have you seen any of the video of that little black car whizzing around? That woman was a threat to any pedestrian or motorist that got in her way. I heard this morning that her friends have said that she though Obama was stalking her so her driving that wildly in that vicinity would make any police a bit excited and then she wouldn't stop for them to talk with her.

I agree with what people are saying about shooting an unarmed woman but she was driving one of the most dangerous weapons known in a crowded city like DC.

Other than cops everywhere yesterday most things were closed down thanks to our leader. When backed into that cop car four armed cops had plenty of chance to take a tire or two out. Did they k**l her because she knew something? Likely not so why k**l her?

The best part of this one is that even some Republicans and other right sided people are saying that Obama couldn't have been involved in that attempted closure. I say that since the orders came from the White House, he sure was. He appointed the fools who gave the order so why isn't he responsible for fool thinking like that?

You and I say they v**ed several times, each and Demoncrats say we can't prove that kind of stuff. Even when an e******n judge admits to having done just that they still try to protect that pretty well established Democrat practice.

I saw that car zipping around and wondered how they could have shot out a tire the way she was changing directions so quickly. I still wonder and I still think a mentally deranged woman was at the wheel of a seriously deadly weapon the way she was driving it.

I am in no questioning your statement, but how can the US Government shutdown memorials in a foreign country? They do not own the land do they?

France granted a free "perpetual concession" to the cemetery to the USA. It is staffed by the US Government under Congressional funding.

So France gave away all claim to the land involved in that cemetery and memorial? Now Obama is the boss of it. That means that they gave away some of their sovereignty. Ain't that something?

Is it reasonable to assume from the furor over closing of the 401 National Parks, Memorials, Monuments, etc administered by the NPS that you folks in favor of "smaller government" consider these 22,000 employees with a $3B budget are an essential part to be retained in said smaller federal government?

True, The Prez would have nothing directly to do with closing the WWll Memorial or shooting of the women. But as the boss he could be given some heat about both events..Cut him a little slack..Two things come into my model "T" computer yesterday..First the WWll memorial was built with privet funds from donations and hence not a govt. property. The same fund is suppose to be paying for upkeep and maintenance. So the question was, how could the govt shut it down.. 2nd the Normandy Cemetery is closed for remodeling or repair, something like that. Anyway not supposed to have anything to do with our Government shut-down..Could not locate either article, I dump most things each day as my machine has little memory..anyone see one of these pcs?
