Some background:
A. Neolithic Age (the first flowering and abundance of creativity in the history of the human species) began in the Middle East when men first became cognizant of their own participation in the act of creation. Probably stemming from the observation of mating in flocks, etc. Or maybe the realization that a flock or herd of all females would not result in new life.
B. Martriarchal societies are primitive, as is Socialism and C*******m and both are related to matriarchies. Because the Long Childhood of Man and the Long Childhood of Mankind are mutually recapitulative results in the fact that the very first social organizations are mother-dependent, as is the child.
C. The invention of irrigated agriculture in Mesopotamia resulted in a dangerous and disturbing relationship between the production of food and early quasi-religions and the matriarchies that developed. The use of fertility rites and temple prostitution caused rampant sexuality that dampened enthusiasm for rational, productive, masculine responses to the exigencies of nature.
D. In Sumeria (before perhaps the advent of Akkadians and the syncretism that developed between the Semitic and nomadic culture of Akkadia and the more primitive, matriarchal culture of early Sumeria), feeding of the Gods and the mother-sacrifice model of government resulted in incipient human sacrifice, abhorrent to God.
So what is it about men that enable them to structure society positively, so that creativity and productivity are maximized? I have already informed the people on this site, as well as most of the rest of the world, of some of those masculine traits and attributes, but the most important is the masculine ability to engage in long range strategic planning, unfortunately absent in female minds. (Perhaps some women have this ability, but they are few and far between: Queen Elizabeth I comes to mind.)
Men need to analyze thoroughly, in order to explicate the possible consequences of any actions they take. Women are more oriented to the present, myself included. For me, the waiting is the hardest part.
And another unfortunate difference between men and women is that women will try to control the individual (it is part of their job, as those young charges in their care need their control), whereas men attempt to control events, so they can provide stability to the family, the clan, the tribe and the state. That is one reason I'd rather live in a nomadic culture than a settled agricultural society. I don't like a lot of control; it is suffocating.
