I've had the flu and thought I was over it - after one week, but tonight I feel like the dog in this picture. Sort of 'otter' place.

I pray you get better soon. Please wear socks and pajamas and stay covered up and eat what you can and drink plenty of juices, Gatorade, etc. Maybe even some hot tea. I pray you get plenty of rest. Scientists don't know why chicken noodle soup helps so much. They just know that it does. I will keep you in my prayers. Some of your other family members can take care of the day to day stuff around there.

Guess what! Family is gone already for Christmas up north, or will be leaving, it's just Bear and me.
As for chicken soup - it has been discovered that there IS something in the fat that does assist in healing. - Those old Jewish mama's knew what they were talking about, and I even have homemade chick soup - but this stuff seems to drag on, and on, and........

If we have faith in God's word then His will would be done. Is abortion and same sex marriage God's will?

Amen Beark. I have not had homemade chicken soup in a long time. There is nothing better. Glad Bear is with you. How old is he now? My little Pooh Bear is about 16. He can't see very well and he can't hear me. But by the grace of God he keeps pluggin along. He loves to be in my lap most of the time. You should be able to rest with everyone gone. God sure puts a whole lotta love in dogs. I thank Him all the time. They bring so much joy and comfort and even comedy at times.

Amen. My pastor in Georgia heard that I said Jesus had a dog. I said, " Of course Jesus had a dog. He created all the animals. He made dogs mans best friend, etc." Then I said, " I bet you can't show me in the Bible where Jesus didn't have a dog." :lol: :lol: :lol: He didn't bother me anymore.
