Good. I haven't ignored anyone yet. Still trying to navigate my way around. I found a few more friends though. There are more liberals here than I'd originally thought and a few moderate republicans who don't immediately switch to insults the minute thinking might be required.

I think we need more liberals though...

Most liberals are too nice to stand up to the ugliness here.
But yes, there are a few libs, it gets frustrating to see them try to talk sense to people who will never listen.

Yes it does. Here's what I think about most of these armchair republicans. They are probably on some kind of government handout and are self loathing, so they spew hatred at the very thing that supports them. They bite the hand that feeds them. They come out swinging when challenged, and the truth is they're mentally and emotionally still in eighth grade. That's why every single conversation with them devolves almost immediately into name calling. They are desperate to shut the liberals down. The men seem to be emasculated, probably through no fault of their own, being born, weaned and raised on bitter hatred of the government, fed bullshit propaganda their entire lives, bolstered by the culture surrounding them. I notice most of them appear to not be very well educated. The inarticulate lean to epithets and name calling when they can't summon a logical argument or even understand one. The women seem to be hanging on the coattails of these pathetic men, never challenging them,telling them what they want to hear, jerking them off to keep them from violence, hoping to be tossed an extra crumb or a gnawed porkchop bone.
