The first auction went by the wayside...the bids being obvious fakes.
The second I think topped out at 197K, it appears that was a total fail as well.

As an aside, there are some real wackos on this forum. I saw photoshopped giant bones on another thread, about evolution, I think, maybe to prove something about the Bible? What a mashup. It's lost impossible to backtrack through the shitstorm of conspiracy theory and paranoid political theory to even get to the point of making a relevant comment. This is such an education in human nature, but it does seem that this forum is a haven for conspiracy theorists. Yet, somehow they are convinced we progressives are the dupes.

Oh yeah, they actually believe they are in the majority.
It is well worth catching up by reading some old threads if you have the time.
It is really fun to read the posts of people who were practically #nevertrump folks who are now fully in his corner.
Just stay away from the abortion and equal rights threads, you will need vertigo meds if you go near those.
Some of the language about AAs can be really disgusting. Oh Oh, MUSLIMS! ROFL material there.

Well, the demographics alone are against them, and I think they know this, which makes them come out swinging even harder. Cornered rats comes to mind. Of course they are lining up like pond leeches to suck on Trump's hind end. I expect no less from them. They like a strong man, don't they? Ha ha. Do they have any idea what's in the future for them if Trump got elected? They think they are special to him because he's courting their votes, making them think he cares about them. Ha! He will scrape them off like a piece of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of his shoe once he gets elected. And they will love him all the more. Pathetic!

As for equal rights,nthey are playing a zero sum game where they think having to share rights somehow diminishes their rights, as if there are only some finite number of rights to hand out. I can't tell if they're having a problem with the math, or they suffer from racial resentment borne of unarticulated historical shame.

I don't have the time to read the threads. I have tried to read some of the active ones, and I just get bogged down. I'm sure it's all fairly predictable. I think I can pretty much guess what they are going to write before they even start.

There is no way to argue the abortion thread, and I'm not going to get started on that. I notice quite a few conservative women here who seem to agree with the men about rights, abortion, etc., and I don't want to have anything to do with them. They are fooling themselves into thinking they are part of the boy's club. I got news for them....
