I am not often dazzled, a hundred words is a really good length. It is long enough for some determined expression and not so long that the words are travelling in some pattern that is circular.

i find it interesting that you two dont seem to believe anything that was taught before 1960.just tell me what the whites have done to you that makes you so bitter.and why do you not believe the story of thanksgiving some one writes a story in 1960 and you believe it over a more timely version.as far as the bus problem it really got started about 50 miles south of me in baton rouge.but when i was going to basic in camp chaffe ark i was going on a greyhound and there was a black that sat up fropnt the bus driver went back and asked him to move and he refused and that was that he rode all the way in that seat no one said a thing.that was in 1951

Those in control write history the way that they want. The Mexicans have a very different story of the Alamo than that of the Texans. The slave holders write that slaves were happy to be slaves. The native americans were blood thirsty savages, even though we broke every treaty to steal more land by starting a fight.

"The whites"? LOL, and bitter?
If you honestly wish to hang on to the history you were taught in grade school that is fine.
Of course before you could do that you would have to admit that you were taught NOTHING other than George Washington Carver as a child and you certainly were not taught about Rosa Parks as a child.
So why don't you tell us, vernon, HOW did Squanto learn English?
So tell me, vernon, because maybe being raised in La. means that you actually got a true to history version of slavery.
Were you taught in primary school about runaway slaves having limbs chopped off when they were dragged back into bondage?
Were you taught about the rapes? the separations of families?
Up in the north we were taught about returns of slaves as part of the story of the underground railroad but certainly not the brutality of treatment as it was.
Did the horror of PEOPLE being treated like livestock not smack you upside the head?
I would think that you would like to see people pointing out the cynicism of the civil rights movement holding off for Rosa Parks as she was a more sympathetic figure than some pregnant teen with a sketchy history.

when i was in grade school, rosa parks was also so no i didnt read a word about her.
as far as your indian friend i dont know if he could even speak english and you dont either, just because the so called historian said some thing to support his narrative dosent mean he was telling the truth.
yes slavery was taught in school and i dont think i knew of anyone that supported it.
as far as getting limbs chopped off i dont think would ever happen.if you owned a a race horse would you cut off a leg because it threw you,i dont think so.
as far as bondage i dont think it would have survived to the end of the century.slaves were an expensive commodity, they had to be housed ,clothed ,fed and taken care of.there is a lot being said about how badly they were treated but it has been over blown.

now why would you hate a whole nation because of something that happened 160 yrs ago.
It is wonderful that you have such a positive view of people.
Do you suppose that there was nothing to do on a farm that workers could do while sitting?
Making or mending tools, for example? Making clothes?
