You know people would claim that this is rewritten history, it doesn't match the primary school version that was spoken through the rest of a public school track back in the 1960s. It CAN'T be so. :lol: ;)

I got a kick out of that line concerning our lack of awareness about HOW Squanto learned English.
It is true, isn't it? We are so confident that people would and could just CHOOSE to be like us that we don't give a thought to how that would be.
Not that one would expect small children to think about this; what age should children be able to think critically about these facts?
If I remember it was at the fifth grade level that the school system my children were in claimed that they were moving into critical thinking.
Wouldn't that be the time to start expanding exposure to fact based history?
According to my granddaughter that didn't happen in her class. Too bad, it seems like the perfect opportunity to avoid this silly accusation that people are "rewriting" history.
Maybe for the next generation.

as far as the 50 word thing,opp should limit folks to 25 words or less .
