Of course, you don't look too closely when you shave, do you? Do you hire someone to shave you and comb your hair so you don't have to look at your face?

I am fully aware of the Bush-Mccain-Kennedy amnesty. Conservatives defeated it

So you don't know about Bush backing the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill. Yep, all those three proved to be establishment pols of both parties.

Aside from the fact that most Americans are AGAINST ACA, (the poll you quoted asked if people would prefer ACA over a govt shutdown) what you're saying is that Obama illegally postponed the employer mandate. After all, it has been legislated into LAW .

Lou and Harry Reid fail to see that a "law" is to be enforced and that Obama letting some of his v**ers out of it isn't at all wrong.

No , it wasn't ILLEGALLY POSTPONED .No more than what CRUZ and his lot is trying to do .

What Republicans are trying to do is blackmail Obama with the victims being the American People .

btw , with a penchant such as yours at TWISTING THINGS AROUND , you are no Libertarian , you are a bonafide Tea bag .

No, it wasn't illegally postponed just like refusing to enforce the DOMA law wasn't enforced by Holder at the orders of Obama. Come on Lou, it is time to start looking at things as they are not at how you wish they were.

The crazy thing about e******n is ....someone wins and someone loses .

And that is done quite fair and square in this country . Majority rules .

Romney's platform was to take down ACA .....and he LOST .

I guess I failed to see what you are talking about on my b****t.

Hear, hear. Good post and good advice!

I wanted to say that to rummy but for some reason I don't know that he knows what compromise really is. Harry Reid is one of the best examples of partisan politics I have ever seen and that is because he doesn't believe in compromise other than the "my way or the highway" kind. Kind of like Obama on this latest thing to come from the House. They aren't about to compromise on a law that hasn't received one Republican v**e up to now. That kind of negates what rummy says although he is surely right in some other era of our history.

Here goes the RACE CARD again. It has nothing to do with his skin color. I opposed Hillarycare just as much in the 90s. So take those race cards and fold them in small corners. I think 8 folds works best. Then shove them one by one up YOUR A$$

Outstanding suggestion, Dennis.

I generally agree with you , although I would like to add that a lot of right wing angst is , because of the name and racial makeup of the president and the realization that there is a serious demographic shift taking place in this country (the various machinations of red state policies seem to try to repress minority v****g) this plus the idea of a health care law that is headed to the single payer system(ten to twenty years) has the right fighting against all of these highly obvious changes and it is to be expected as the conservative element wants to maintain the status quo to a larger degree than liberals . One only has to study the origin of the word sabotage.

Single Payer? 10 to 20 years? Do you think the insurance companies will last that long? I sure don't know many Demoncrats who want it to take that long.

Whose polls have you been reading? 62% of Americans are willing to give that a******n a chance? I guess I just don't hear or read the right polls. I think that if you look, your polls were worded in ways that forced people to v**e for them. People don't want the whole bill since it was passed and we started seeing what was in it, but most would accept parts of it as very good.

I wonder what a poll would show if it just asked if the IRS should enforce the a******n you proudly call ACA. I am pretty sure that when you see that one answered you will find a large majority saying NO but then . . . . . . .

I must also ask you to list any laws like this one that created those entitlements that have ever been dropped after they got in effect. I don't know of any at all because entitlements cause the entitled to v**e for those who support them. Once this socialized medicine law goes into effect we will be a short time from just that, socialized medicine.
Whose polls have you been reading? 62% of America... (show quote)

Hey oldroy just what details of the ACA do you object to?
Do you have any other than Gop talking points?

I'm serious please tell us what exactly do you object to in the ACA ?

And we had to work pretty hard to do that, but the left didn't get their way. Didn't people see what McCain was back then? I did but I v**ed him with nose clasped firmly between thumb and forefinger because I wasn't about to do something that would allow a v**e for Obama.
