The IRS does not "direct" Obamacare but would enforce the penalty for not having insurance, on your taxes, as you properly corrected me. Your bomb Syria argument bears some t***h but then you destroy your own reasoning with the paltry dictator reference. If Obama were the tyrant you want to paint him as, he wouldn't have cared what congress or we thought and bombs away. Is there no place in your world for a more nuanced and thoughtful President, or should we just go back to W. Any chance that things may be turning out there the way Obama hoped they would. Finally, I guarantee that President Obama will gladly hand the office to his predecessor at the end of his term, and I suspect he will leave his successor a country in far better shape than the one he inherited. Handing a country that is now or will be over 75,000 trillion in debt is hardly better than what he inherited from W. we were not near that far under with him we were in debt but closer to billions instead of trillions in debt we are now in. I don't see him improving our debt from the current 75,000 trillion in fact they predict that to be tripled so the economy is so far gone socialism will be the only way out of debt. and you do know the picture that presents by looking at Russia,China,Cuba, and several other countries that have turned that way,and the past example of the destruction it brought to Germany under Hitler is that something to be proud of handing anyone. I don't sleep soundly knowing what this country faces the only way out is an uprising and revolution like the one that started this country out.

Holy smoke Gary, get a grip on reality. We are nowhere near 75T in debt. When O took over from W the debt had increased immensely, and that didn't include the Over a trillion that was never in the budget for the wars, and the close to a trillion that W spent on the crazy pharmaceutical bill but never put in the budget. When Obama took over he stopped the charade and properly accounted for both items in the budget deficit, plus Bush's Tarp spending infusion he passed before slinking out of Washington. Y'all like to slap this on Obama because he refused to hide it but it is 3 Trillion in debt added to Bush's already bloated budget deficits. Obama put in the stimulus package which increased the deficit, but remember, a huge amount of the stimulus came in the form of tax cuts and a payroll withholding holiday. The current debt is 16.8 Trillion, but it was over 10 Trillion when Bush left but actually closer to 13 Trillion with the huge off book debt. The annual deficit has dropped the last 4 years down 16.4% in 2012.
These are facts. The rest of your opinions are real head scratchers. How would socialism help us out of our debt? Why would you let Bush increase our debt at the highest rate of increase in recent history and you not talk about "revolution" then. Help me understand your views.

Holy Crap! What planet are you living on? When Reagan was president, everybody but the truly twisted was happy, or at least, not unhappy. How many people do you know who are happy today? Even the defenders of barry, who show up here too often, are angry and harsh. Pres. Reagan loved the country! He was a true American. There was NEVER a doubt about his citizenry, or love for the USA. Gary, I looked up the very latest government debt data. All you have to do is Google it, Yahoo it, Suri it or look up the government figures on the government site on the internet. The current debt is the 16+ Trillion I quoted you. It is not $75 Trillion or $75,000 or any other figure you want to throw out. Please live in the world of facts! I never said Obama was the Savior of any one. He is a flawed leader trying to deal with an anti anything Obama Congress, unfortunately fueled by knuckleheads like are running rampant on this site who would rather rant about the Olegal, Oligitimate, Obastard dude who somehow won two e******ns with the American people as provided for by our US Constitution. Somehow this makes you crazy and willing to throw over the whole country to get your own way. Fact is, you are the tyrannical despots willing to argue for force to get what you think you want. Still no one has presented any viable, factual argument about what his crime against the "real American who really loves this country" is! Yes, I often reread my post after I send them, and that implication (of what you wrote) only occurred to me then. I have not seen enough evidence of v**er double-dipping (or ghostly v**ers lacking material fingers to dip) to believe there were enough swing v**es so cast. But I certainly am aware that some people do think that e******n officials are corrupt and or so incompetent that they will allow such wholesale destruction of our democratic expression. I know and trust my Vermont neighbors more than that (and look forward to our brief semi-annual chats at the polls), but many Americans hardly even know who their poll official are.
