Senator Moynihan was a hero of mine, as was William F. Buckley, on the right. The days of true liberals and conservatives are gone.

Most people agree on the majority of issues, maybe 75% of the time. It's the other 25% of conflict that causes such dissension and grief.

My only problem with the post is your stating there are no more "true" liberals. Unfortunately, few remain in our nation's capital. Most are not visible in the public eye.
