Your president took $700B out of Medicare and rolled it over into Obamacare and Medicaid. Obamacare will also eliminate the Medicare Advantage medical insurance plans. The long range plan is to dissolve Medicare and roll it all into Obamacare. So, get ready for lower quality care, longer waits, higher costs. it's a comin'!

Where are you getting your facts and figures?
Don't tell me it's another right-wing bloc.

"THE ALLEGED “RAID ON MEDICARE” A Republican attack ad says that the reform law has “cut” $716 billion from Medicare, with the money used to expand coverage to low-
income people who are currently uninsured. “So now the money you paid for your guaranteed health care is going to a massive new government program that’s not for you,” the ad warns.

What the Republicans fail to say is that the budget resolutions crafted by Paul Ryan and approved by the Republican-controlled House retained virtually the same cut in Medicare."

The names I chose are in fact 'generalizations', and not directed at anyone in particular, however, the point is that the conservative movement is trying to destroy the ACA and most social programs, while many are using the very same programs.
But here is the deal, if and when certain posters refrain from calling the president the names they do, such as marxist, c****e, kenyan, muslim, Oillegal, Odummy, Obummy and ad nauseum, I will cease and desist from most name calling. I doubt that will happen.

Please note, I did not say the best, but ONE of the best for the price/premium which I'm told is about $105.00 a month for an 80/20 plan. Much better than most individual plans. If you have retiree insurance, it serves as the medigap policy to help cover the 20% co-pay. Just compare prices before and after the ACA. Much cost is reduced because Medicare is SINGLE payer. Also, the ACA cost for an individual is based on income, and the state where you reside. Some states have areally lousy insurance commissioner and therefore really lousy plans. The ACA plan will be better and will cost more because the plan provides more than lousy coverage and the per centage increase will be higher. On the other hand, states that have good insurance plans will find the CA will in fact lower the premium costs.
Much more will be learned after Oct.1st

Did you just say that Medicare is the best plan in the country? How so?

Medicare reimbursement rates to Dr. & hospitals continue to drop. More Dr.s are not accepting Medicare patients. Even those on Medicare need to have insurance to cover expenses beyond Medicare (aka Medicare Advantage).
When you file for SS you must enroll in Medicare--regardless.

I still do not see how you determine that this is the best plan in the country!
