There are way more who would like to adopt children than are waiting to be adopted. Rape & incest are responsible for very few pregnancies.

I will agree with one point. There are many ways to avoid pregnancy. However, your argument comparing illegal activities to a legal medical procedure is comparing apples and oranges.
When you allow government to legislate medical procedures, where do you think if will end? Everyone in this country has a choice. If you believe a******n to be wrong don't have one. None of us have the right to refuse a medical procedure to a person based upon our religious beliefs. Or do you believe freedom is only for a select few with the "right morals" as outlined by your beliefs? If we want freedom for ourselves, we must grant freedom to those who disagree with us.

The first sentence in your second paragraph says a lot. Allowing government to legislate medical practice has what has gotten us into this problem. The Declaration of Independence says "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness". I think that applies to everyone, even the unborn. Aside from religious beliefs, I feel that way because of common sense. We look unfavorably upon murder and don't say we should have a choice. My common sense says it should be wrong. Period. If you don't want a baby, don't get pregnant. That's your choice.

I know the failure rates, I want you to know the failure rates for birth control.
Not that it matters, ultimately. While a******n would not be a typical choice for birth control it is legal.
So that, bylm1, is what that has to do with anything.
