The t***h is they were never alive. What God was saying is one day they will be seen for what they were, (which was nothing). Psalms 115:4 8 and 135:15 18 clearly describe the uselessness of idolatry. Before you say America is smarter take this into consideration, American Idol is number one in its timeslot every time it is on the air. This is the methodology for child sacrifice; the idol would be built standing erect with his arms bent at the elbows at a 90 degree angle. This would form a makeshift altar to place a sacrifice. They would place infant children in the hands of the idol and burn a piece of wood under the child. Drums would be played to drown out the screams of the dying child. You seem to misunderstand.
I don't care what those former bits of human material would say anymore than I sit and ponder what the bits of material I miscarried or lost due to an ectopic pregnancy.
