Then how do you support the claim that reserve/guard service is draft dodging?

Sorry about that,,, someone else said that;

Here is romneys draft record,,,
Mitt Romney has never served in the military.

• Before joining college, Romney had received a deferment from the draft as a Mormon 'minister of religion' for the duration of his missionary work in France, which lasted two and a half years. At the time, there was an agreement of sorts between the church and the Selective Service allowing exemptions from the draft for missionaries. Before and after his missionary deferment, Romney also received nearly three years of deferments for his academic studies.

• In April 1965, Romney registered with the Selective Service but was not considered readily available for military service until December 1970. When he became eligible for military service in 1970, he drew a high number in the annual draft lottery and at that time no one drawing higher than 195 was drafted.

You are not wrong if you hold everyone to that standard,, if you pick sides and hold only the republican to that standard then I cry foul..

Blue....I'm a little late (9/19/13) on catching this remark....this is exactly what I meant when I made the remark of (cranial rectal inversion).

Some of these i***tic remarks made by those wearing blinders. They only see what they want to see. Everything that is Republican is right and all Dems. are wrong. The problem with that comes down to the basic fact that they try to cover up...they h**e to be WRONG so they stick to their predisposed notions and live happily ever after in their ignorance.

You can't even point out to them where they are wrong because they will "hear you but they don't LISTEN".
